You and your team enter our state-of-the-art bakery to compete in the great NYC cupcake challenge, but as the timer starts you realize that your biggest competitors have hidden all the tools and ingredients and locked you inside in order to sabotage your chances of beating them! Can you manage to find everything you need and get the cupcakes ready on time? Sugar Rush is a super fun and interactive escape game, full of sweet surprises, with puzzles that put all your senses to work! Oh, and should you successfully complete the challenge on time... you'll get to enjoy your masterpiece cupcake creations!! Bon-a-petite!

This was such a fun cute room! We found it really easy because it uses a lot of standard puzzles but for newer folks it would be a solid medium difficulty. A little homemade seeming, but super fun idea for story. Puzzles all fit thematically well, but the story was governed heavily by combo locks which was unfortunate.

Simple, cute, streamlined, and not too challenging. Easy-medium difficulty, and 7/10 for overall enjoyability. Although it was relatively easy and puzzles were simple, they didn't feel pointless. They stuck to the theme and all together seemed like a well-rounded set of puzzles. All together, the room felt like it had the right amount of challenge. It's really cute how the room incorporated the smell and taste senses into some puzzles. I can see how this would be very engaging for children or a good escape room to do for a group who is new to escape rooms. The story made sense, and the puzzles all stuck to the theme. Nothing to complain about. Overall, I'd recommend. Although it was on the easy side, it really was not a bad experience, which I find surprising because it can be hard to create that right balance for a room.

Unique theme, but unpolished. Held back by low budget and poor upkeep. A few unique sensory puzzles. One puzzle was broken and GM didn’t notice for a long time, though GM found a workaround eventually. I enjoyed the ending. You won’t hate it, but definitely skippable. 2/5

One puzzle relied on an electronic device which was broken (not powered on). GM took a long time to realize this; once they did realize they were unable to fix it. They did come up with a workaround which worked fine.

Delightful linear room. Fun puzzles that require all five senses and you get cupcakes at the end! (All of these things they tell you before you start.) Not a lot of extra stuff, but it doesn't matter. It's a very satisfying room.
