A team of high-tech scientists and programmers have assembled to perform ground breaking experiments in developing the first instance of true artificial intelligence known to man. You have just been accepted onto the team of scientists and have arrived at their headquarters. After a few days you realise that scientists are suddenly leaving and that these robots are showing scarily human-like emotions. You decide that you need to leave as quickly as possible as something peculiar is happening, but all of the doors have been locked trapping you and the rest of the team inside. Can you all escape before you reluctantly become a part of the experiment?

A great room and experience overall. Quite a unique theme and good variety of puzzles. High quality mechanics and a good flow to room. As experienced players, we got out just in time as a team of 2. Fantastic escape room company in Edinburgh!

Really enjoyed this room, good story line, props, and puzzles. Really solid room. Nice mix of tech and traditional puzzles.

Gameplay

Flows well, fun to play, not too difficult.

Atmosphere

Really immersive room that stays well on theme throughout.

A Mothers Day treat to escape the Machina Room with my family. We all thoroughly enjoyed it although we didn't make it out on time! I have to say we got stuck at a couple of the puzzles. Stephen however was great and gave us a couple of clues to help us on our way. He was a great GM with an excellent story line intro to get us started into the theme. The room was well themed with good puzzles.

An okay room. It was worth doing to say we’d done all rooms at this location but this was one of the weaker of the 6 offered in Edinburgh. The room has had maintenance and changed a little since we played I think so it might be better now. Fun to check out but there’s better rooms to play here.
