17 escape rooms
A fun room with beautiful set design, but pretty short. Paper clues that were part of the game and hints that not everyone gets we're not really distinct. I think this could be good to not demoralize beginner, but for my companion (also pretty experienced) it was frustrating. She thought we were getting a lot of clues because we were doing badly.
Gameplay
A few puzzle types I haven't encountered before! All pretty easy, though.
Atmosphere
I loved the set design of the first room and liked the design of the second room. Nice atmospheric sound throughout and cute sound cues for puzzle completion (especially helpful when we didn't see what solving the puzzle triggered).
Customer service
Our GM treated us very well and rolled well with one of the set pieces briefly malfunctioning.

Reading and symbol matching are relevant to most of the puzzles, but the content is entirely child-friendly. I imagine any kid old enough to do an escape room in general could do this one, as long as they have someone older who can read and direct them a bit with them.
Was anything broken?
Kind of! I think I accidentally interacted incorrectly with a prop and caused it to jam. The GM told us what it was supposed to do at the appropriate time and we were able to nudge it ourselves.

Technically you do have to go between two rooms a bit and at least one person on your team needs to be able to lift small, slightly heavy objects (probably around 20 pounds). None of this has to be done quickly, though
Accessibility
Color blindness could be an issue for one of the puzzles. Blindness or very low vision would be prohibitive. Hearing problems could make it difficult to tell when some puzzles have been solved, but wouldn't prevent the solving of any puzzles. For mobility, the door between the two parts of the room might be too narrow for some mobility devices. There is also nowhere you can/should sit in the space except on the floor. (It's possible they could offer accomodations for this; there is enough floor space to place a chair in the room. You'd have to ask.)

Google maps will steer you correctly, but there isn't signage in the front of the building, only the back.

Parking lot in back of building. Free. May be full if you go on a weekend night because it's in the heart of Ohio City.
