You eagerly joined in the uprising against the captain. He hasn't produced the riches he claimed that you would all have under his command. When the opportunity came to over throw him, you jumped at the chance. The crew all agreed to overthrow the captain, but when the time came, most were too afraid to stand up to him. You and a small group were all that spoke up. Now you find yourselves sitting below deck and wondering your fate. The crew drank and carried on all through the night. It is nearly dawn and they will awake soon. You only have a short time to break out of your prison, find the treasure map to locate your riches and get off the ship.

2 escape rooms
First ever Escape Room experience, highly recommend for new players. The Mutineer's Journal was a helpful guide, though its pages seemed out of order which caused some confusion. Used two hints formally, though the Game Master was aware that the group was new to escape rooms. As a history buff, some puzzles came easier, yet the real fun came from the learning along the way. Room was well designed and difficulty felt sufficient to prepare the group for the learning curve of puzzle mechanics.
Recommend ambient sounds (ship boards creaking, waves, perhaps rain/storm sounds) for enhancing sensory immersion.
Yes
Strong, popular theme drew attention, but design and story were truly immersive.
Easy
Easy-Medium: prior history or pirate knowledge can simplify some puzzles but not substantially. The clues provided are comprehensive to general audiences and are mostly instructive for thematic-skill based puzzles (Coordinates, map reading, etc.

2-4 are optimal, 1 is possible but likely challenging.
Not scary

Puzzles may be difficult in some facets but I would consider the attraction "family friendly" as it thematically appeals to general audiences. It's content could be experienced by a young human with adult supervision and much assistance.

Recommend calling Staff before booking about options for Disability and Impairment assistance or provisions. Dim lights may be difficult for visually impaired, Color puzzle mechanics. Physical space constraints on openings and passages may be difficult for mobility impaired. No observable ADA compliant routes or alternatives for mobility disabled players. Minimal risk for sensory overwhelm in mental, intellectual, or psychologically impaired or disabled players.

My husband and I enjoyed all three rooms at this location. We were able to work through the room without hints, which is our favorite type of experience. Some enthusiasts may complain that this room is easy, so if you're looking for a challenge, this should not be your first pick.

Standard room with fairly easy puzzles. This is one I would limit players due to space. Our group of 7 used 1 out of 3 clues available.
