This was a very well done room. After hearing some of the negative thoughts about it, we were a bit worried, but this was a great room. There was a great effort out into theming throughout. There was everything that you would want to have in an agent room; Lasers, weapons, and a crazy system that is trying to kill everyone. Everything in this room helped sell the theming. From the sounds, vfx and even the smells, it was all very well done. One thing I will say is that there were some recordings and cut scenes that seemed to eat up time.
A very novel game that flowed very well. One issue with a puzzle but it was our own silliness.
Set design was flawless. There was a part in the middle that had a great moment to give the room a much bigger feel.
Our GM Malcom was amazing. Personable and on it when we were in the room! Loved working with him!

The puzzles in the room were great and even a reference to a good puzzle game online. The theme felt a little disconnected due to the tech vs the timeframe. Big warning for anyone with elevator phobia this room is not for you.

They did a weird mix or wwii and portal(video game) which meant the technology didn’t fit the timeline well. But it was very fun

Started out strong but came to a grinding halt once we hit the broken puzzle. Even once the game master triggered the puzzle for us after proving that we solved it properly, the next step was anything but intuitive. Then it got better again until the end. At the very end, there are several unrelated puzzles mashed together and basically made us just not care anymore. We felt we were fighting the room rather than playing it. Which is unfortunate, because we LOVED the other 3 games we played from this company.
It started out fun. The game set and design was great, as always from this company. Unfortunately, there was a broken puzzle about half way through. Then, at the end, the puzzles didn’t really make any logical sense. The game master even offered to give us 5 more minutes because we were “right there” but we just wanted it to end.

It somewhat pains me to write this…but after playing all the games here, 13th Gate seems highly overrated. This game in particular was a disappointment. Multiple puzzles not working, the GM didn’t know how to operate/explain some of the puzzles and ended up just turning one off to get us through it. Truly felt like we were just trapped in this room and couldn’t wait for it to end. The set wasn’t terrible, and while not a unique concept we can see where they tried some new spins. But overall, just disappointed.

Tons of broken puzzles, lots of puzzles that needed workarounds to make them work - terrible experience. Honestly if you have puzzles that don’t work and you just let players sit there for twenty mins working the puzzle then you are wrong.
Terribly disappointing. So many broken puzzles - if you’re a fan of repeating the same thing many times for it to end up needing skipped then surely this is the room for you.
The GM clearly didn’t know the puzzles or how they worked. There were many broken puzzles but we spent forever doing them until we ended up needing the GM to skip those puzzles because they wouldn’t work.

A few surprising and loud moments in the dark that were unexpected. Nearly had my hand chopped off twice from gates slamming open without warning - so that’d be pretty scary IMO.

Probably one of the most tech filled rooms I have ever done. Not a spoiler (because of picture above) but laser aspect is really good part of the game. If you like tech rooms you should travel to this one!

Can be a private experience for a fee
It is mandatory to have an adult at the facility for children aged 8-17 years. Children under 8 years old are not permitted. People with severe heart conditions, epilepsy, pace-maker, claustrophobia, or are pregnant. Basic physical agility is part of playing these games. Participants who are unable to bend, crawl, stand, reach, duck and climb stairs are advised not to participate in these games.
