Sorcerer’s Study

This had the potential to be a very fun room, but several things got in the way. The most notable was the gamemaster not being any kind of character and giving clues by just entering the room and telling you the solution.

This game was shut down, and there’s a reason why. Aside from IP infringement, the game had some headscrathing moments of the types of puzzles it would include. For example, Sudoku because they are magic squares, therefore magic = sorcery? Huh?

So bad. This room was probably my least favorite room I’ve ever done. It looked like it had no budget whatsoever. I was so excited for this room because I love Harry Potter but to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. Glad it was shut down.

If you did not do this room and you are a Harry Potter fan then you should be happy. The room had not only a few issues with it. But the story and connection to Harry Potter was really bad.

Many of the puzzles were broken when we played. The room overall appeared to try but was underwhelming.
