Stella Superstar!

This was a fun room, and it surprised me a bit because I was looking more forward to the other room (Ramen Shop). There were a few surprises in there that we did not expect. I won’t ruin the surprises 😉. Several locks, so be aware of that if that kind of thing bothers you. Kit was so nice. She offered hints when we needed them.

I struggled with how to rate this room as it really didn’t click with me. The pricing is good (arguably amazing when compared to its competitor on the island), it was easy to find, parking was simple in the new parking garage that is practically next door, and the owners are so nice and passionate. The set is okay; a little rough around the edges, but it serves its purpose, and I will admit that there are a couple of solid puzzles in this room. In fact, one that I was thoroughly impressed with, but some of the puzzles fell short for me, and the flow/signposting just didn’t hit home with me.

This was my least favorite of the 2 here. The room had a good set, and some interesting puzzles, but like with the ramen shop, this game struggles a lot with signposting and flow. There were some serious areas of improvement but the game has some serious potential, and with the passion of the owners, I’m sure future games will continue to improve.

Great small business to support! Finding this spot is a little strange (second floor with an entrance in the back). With street parking as you can find it in this little outdoor shopping plaza. Love our GM's Kit and Derin who took it upon themselves to design and build some of these rooms. Even the lobby space is great. Good use of their space, really accounted for the whole room! Would suggest for anyone in the Maui area.

Did this room first of the two rooms. This was a smaller room and I wouldn’t say it was scary and I am a chicken on those things. Puzzles were good

Stella Superstar's story is part of the lore if you've done The Ramen Shop before. Stella is one of the frequent visitors in the Ramen Shop. In terms of expectations, this is the only connection they have. This escape room is spooky more than it is scary, and it's more puzzle heavy. The ideal number of people in this room would be 3-4 people, but my husband and I managed to do it between the two of us. Our game master is one of th co-owners of this escape room and he gave us helpful nudges when we are stuck with a puzzle. This is a small family run escape room and the quality of the story and the mechanical puzzles are top tier! Would recommend this escape room if you're looking for something else to do in Maui! Mahalo to Derin and Kit for their personalized welcome to us!

I don't really remember this room, I do think that Ramen shop was the better game at this location.

Loved the story , different style puzzles. Tough to do with only 2 people. Great experience! Great staff!

We did this during our last family trip to Maui. We escaped but it's been a good while since we had done an escape room so we had to have a bit of help getting through this. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun for us. The hint system was done well and the music added to the suspense of the room. Spooky vibe but not scary. Definitley a fun experience if you want something different to do on vacation on the island. I'd suggest if you're not familiar with the area to find a time slot when there's light out as we had a bit of difficulty locating the place in the evening. However, the staff so welcoming and helpful in guiding us to their place. Really friendly GM and you can tell they take pride in their rooms. We already have plans to do their other room on our next visit to Maui!
