Scrooge's Christmas Trap

CU adventures least cool room in my opinion but that’s relative to the other ones they have which are mostly all high production value. This one is more of a classic escape room (mostly locks). That being said, it was still fun for our group of 2. We did this one first and it was a good warm up for the rest of the experiences. They did have a couple puzzles that were verrrry similar to another Christmas room in another state. This room is a good beginner escape room. My personal #7 game out of 7 at CU Adventures.

We saved Christmas! Some unique puzzles set this game apart from other Christmas games, and a fun set was a nice bonus! 😀

If you’re wondering which room to start off playing I’d recommend this one. It’s a bit easier and you can’t go wrong with a Christmas theme!

This room was decent. Not the best I have been in, but also not the worst. There were a lot of clues. Some of them were quite difficult. Overall, a good room.

This room is on the eaiser side, but how can you resist a Christmas theme?!? I think enthusiasts will appreciate the difficulty level of the other rooms at this location. The staff is fantastic, and the rooms are super solid.

The theme of this room was really fun. A great room to do with beginners. That had some cute puzzles that would be fun for everyone.

Such a cute room! Really enjoyed the Christmas-themed puzzles and spirit! The cameo was a treat and made me smile big. It’s an overall easier room than the others here, but it’s not a pushover. There’s some very interesting surprises! Perfect for families, younger kids, and anyone else who wants to SAVE CHRISTMAS! Ho ho hooooo!

Easier game for beginners. A great theme for the holiday!

This is a great game to play around Christmas time, the puzzles aren’t too challenging but it’s still a great game. It would be great to play with your children!

Rating: 4/5 Overall a fun room but this is CU Adventure's weakest room for me. However, since it was originally just made for just the holidays that's understandable. Their standards are VERY high though so even their temporary rooms are still very good. This is definitely an easier room meant more for families and beginners, I did it with only one other person and we still didn't think it was very hard. I'd recommend 2-3, maybe 4 players if everyone is a beginner. Pros: -Immersive, high quality set with fun set pieces -Just about everything you see or touch fits the theme -Fun variety of creative puzzles -Very few padlocks, keys, or lockboxes -Unique and fun way of interacting with the game master -Lots of cool tech integration -Multiple areas -Friendly and enthusiastic game master with a fun communication method Cons: -None, it's just not quite as good as their other rooms.
