117 escape rooms
A solid, and fun room. The set design was very immersive and there were some fun puzzles. We chose to play the Good Guy side of this room, but had the choice early on of taking a different path and playing the Bad Guy side. Everything flowed well and the puzzles all supported the storyline.
Gameplay
The game flowed very well. We had a little difficulty getting started (always do) but moved along at a good pace throughout the remainder. This was a standard escape room, with immersive designs, with nothing too unique, but was still fun to play.
Atmosphere
Everything was immersive and supported the story. The ending came a little abruptly but made sense looking back.
Customer service
Our GM did a great job getting us set up. We did spin our wheels a little bit at times but also received a couple of hints/clues a little prematurely, especially for finishing in just under 45 minutes.
Particularly interesting or different
No
It was still fun and immersive.
Story
The plot was solid and the puzzles were all well integrated to our efforts.
Difficulty
Medium
On the hard side of medium, but still pretty medium. The puzzles were mostly straightforward, although there was one that looking back did not have a definitive solution which required us to guess at an alternate solution. When we asked the GM at the end she couldn't explain why the answer was our second solution and not our first, based on the clues. Otherwise, there were some fun and unique puzzles in the game.
Game tech
High tech
Mostly tech with some mechanical. A fun combination and some good puzzles.
Ideal number of players
4
We played with our normal three but could have used a little extra brain power at times, despite finishing in just under 45 minutes.
Scary
Not scary
There is a violent "event" toward the end, but it isn't anything outside of normal game play.
Minimum age
10
Slightly older than my normal 8 due to a violent threat in the game toward the end. Otherwise, the puzzles are straightforward and can be solved/understood by a 10-year-old.
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
Except for the very end (I'm sure there is an alternate means to escape) the game was pretty accessible. Most puzzles were reachable, but the set was a little dark in places.
Easy to find location
Yes
Parking
Easy
Dedicated parking for the business, and mostly empty on a Saturday afternoon.
Safety
Yes
