13 escape rooms
I went here with family to celebrate a birthday for someone in our group. While the physical ambience was okay, there are many things that can be done to heighten the level of immersion and improve the flow and experience of playing the game.
Gameplay
There was a red herring or two which was disruptive to the flow of the game. Little visual/aural indication of puzzle completion. Room felt very aged
Atmosphere
Set design was decent given overall theme of room, but much could be done to improve room immersion such as: adding soundtrack while in the room, visual/audio indication of puzzle completion and bringing some game elements “to life” Ending felt anti-climactic
Customer service
Gamemaster gave small spiel at beginning which lasted a minute or two. No interaction other than clues during game.

Was anything broken?
There was one puzzle that did not light up all the way when completed. Solved immediately after seeing puzzle. Group could not tell puzzle was completed and when inquired about to gamemaster, was told verbatim“It’s the 1800’s” to fit with theme and that it was like that to make you “lose your mind” a little. Does not sit well.
