We've done several Atlantis themes before and this one is the best one yet! Our GM was fantastic she didn't make it weird being in the room. She kept to herself reading a book and was available when we were stuck.
Flows well. When we first entered the second room we were surprised the room size and the amount of different puzzles.

So much. Almost too much for two people.

Very difficult to solve the clues. Our game master was very nice, but it was still awkward having someone in the room with us.

I won a giveaway on their instagram (follow them on social media because they do share promos/discounts there) and was able to play for free. The set, like all of their sets, was impressive. Some puzzles were more straightforward than others. A few of the puzzles didn’t work even when solved correctly so an employee was in the room to make sure we were able to progress. We escaped. There is metered street parking or a lot on the same street (just drive past the escape room and take a ramp up) for $10.

This is a good room, but it is at most the second-best Atlantis-themed room in LA. I recommend you go to the venue to play the Black Dragon room and then if you have time to play more than one room you would not be unhappy if you added this one on. There are a couple of really nice puzzles and the set is well designed, but there are also some clunky puzzles and the ending was a bit anticlimactic. IMO, overall this room does not flow as well as the other two rooms at Escape Room LA. We still had a good time though and our game master was very friendly.

The GM is playing a character and is in the room with you, but is only there to help if you get stuck, and stays in the background otherwise.

A bit of crawling, some narrow doorways, and a couple of small spaces.
I think most but not all of the gameplay spaces would be accessible. Multiple puzzles rely on color, sound, and looking through small telescopes. One color-dependent puzzle in particular is made unnecessarily difficult because the ambient lighting changes the colors in ways that don’t seem to have been accounted for.

I’ve done a lot of Atlantis rooms before and this is definitely one of my favorites. Right away, the immersion is high up there when you walk into the room. They had a diverse set of puzzles and puzzles that I’ve never seen before (as someone who’s done close to 100). We did this with a group of 6 and we broke the record time for that week. I think a group of four to five could easily do this as well if they split up and communicate effectively. Our game master was welcoming but I still find it strange that they are in the room with you the entire time. They were not distracting or unhelpful but this is the first time that I’ve been in a room with the game master and not a live actor.

This was a very fun room with great set design and puzzles that were more interesting and challenging than most rooms. I’d definitely recommend it.
Our GM was a little unenthusiastic and seemed like he wasn’t very into this job.

Our GM stayed in the room the entire time, but it was just so he could reset it behind us as we solved it. I’ve never seen them reset a room as you are in it before. Kind of takes you a little bit out of it.
Not at all
There is one part where one person needs to crawl into a small space.

There are parking garages for $7 or $8 nearby, but there are also much more expensive ones, so keep an eye out. There are some 2-hour meter parking spots around too, but not a lot.

Very fun time; one of the best Atlantis rooms I’ve played. Lots of fun puzzles, and fairly non-linear, so plenty for everyone to do. Lots of fun reveals, and a beautiful set design.

Fun room with tons of puzzles. You need to divide and conquer to get out of this one. I am obsessed with the sets. There’s one room in particular that was so beautifully crafted and I’d never seen anything like it.

Impressive set that made us feel like we were actually under the sea! The great room design is the best part, with mostly logical puzzles taking a back seat to it. The few puzzles that didn’t make sense during the room still don’t make sense now after the fact. Also, for some reason, at all the rooms in this location, the GM is with you the whole time. It’s weird, but it was helpful to have the GM check things for us directly, especially for the more confusing puzzles. I loved the water features and overall water flow! I hear there’s another Atlantis room in the LA area, and I’d be interested to see how that compares!

Beautiful room that had a “wow” effect when we walked into the main part. We were surprised by having a live game master with us in the room (vs cameras) but got used to it. We were clear we didn’t want help unless we asked for it but found some of the explanations to be on the verge of hints. Overall some really fun puzzles that were quite original and lovely surroundings. The room was large so 4 of us split into 2 groups. Definitely recommend and will go back for other rooms.
