While shopping at a Sunday market, you meet an elderly widow trying to sell her husband’s belongings. You take interest in a strange-looking purple crystal. She tells you it could be quite valuable and belonged to Parker- her late husband. He had no education but interestingly, without any experience, was offered a highly-paid job in a remote mine. Overjoyed, he gladly took the opportunity but one day, some years later, he returned from the mine with the purple crystal and announced that he had quit his job. He seemed distant, withdrawn, and refused to say why. On his death bed, he asked her to promise she would return the crystal to the mine however he died before she could ask him why. The widow insists you take it and think it could be valuable you decide to buy it. Can you perhaps discover for yourself where this mine is and if it contains any more precious crystals….

We had the opportunity to experience this room just before it was set to close its doors for good. The atmosphere was reminiscent of older escape rooms, evoking a sense of nostalgia, yet it was entirely mechanical in its execution. The gameplay was both enjoyable and immersive, providing a captivating experience. Although there were numerous instructional notes scattered throughout the room, they did not detract from the overall experience. In fact, the guidance was quite welcome and helped enhance the adventure. The puzzles were engaging, logical, and incredibly satisfying, featuring elements like lasers and intricate mechanical challenges. Overall, it was a memorable and delightful escape room experience.

Some of high- tech were used, looks fancy. But the room itself is so BORING , 1st time we found we were so desperately to leave if we can. Some of the puzzles too abstract, not accurate, one of the escape rooms I hate most : they designed not to let people have fun but let them cannot escape

This was a traditional escape room probably more on the Gen 2 level with mechanical puzzles and no padlocks. The set design was impressive in some rooms and a bit less so in others. Not one for beginners as most players do not finish this room in the 80min allocated time. It’s fun and interactive with lots of props and moving parts that will surprise you.

The mechanical aspects of the room are novel and cool. We struggled with some of the sound towards the end, similar to other reviews here. Only a couple of the activities felt like “puzzles” with the remainder being more about guessing what to do next - with minimal narrative context in some cases. We liked a couple of them more game like aspect though. Glad to have done it, but would not recommend for first-timers.

Overall liked this experience due to the uniqueness of some puzzles and elements, and that it didn’t have any lock/combination style puzzles so was refreshing in that sense, but there were some confusing parts. I wouldn’t recommend this as a first or second escape room. It’d be better suited to those who’ve done a few before and work well as a team.

Decent room, lots of cool puzzles. We managed to escape 2 mins after the allotted time. We should have asked for a clue in the middle room, we had completed the puzzle correctly but because it was mechanical and not aligned correctly. We struggled in the last room with the sound. We knew before doing it this would be a problem from other reviews. There was only two of us and we’ve done lots of rooms. It was hard but we both enjoyed it. Would recommend for experienced teams.

The story was cool, and so were some of the elements of the room design. However, after the first bit (which was good), it got a bit boring. One of the puzzles was a bit fiddly and ate up time long after having figured it out.
