Haunted Academy

Don’t mind a dark room, but sufficient tools for light would need to be provided in lieu of the small battery powered candles, they just simply were not enough and a lot of time was eaten up be trying to read. I would recommend some music for ambience as there was none. The clues provided would have been very helpful if they weren’t so long winded, when you provide too much information or explanation with a clue, your players may tend to forget what was said at the very beginning as nothing was provided to us to write these clues down, so we indeed had to ask for several repeats. I love good lateral thinking clues, but some towards the end were just very obscure. We could absolutely see the vision of the room, and the staff were lovely, but ultimately it unfortunately fell flat as an experience.

This is an okay game, the main issue I have with this room is that it's too dark! The room is not lit in any way and our group was only given a small electric candle each, not even a normal torch, which makes reading anything in the room extremely difficult and not fun. There is also some searching involved and searching in the dark isn't the most fun thing to do. I believe if a better light source is provided, the game will be more enjoyable.
