Most memorable of the scram rooms Iβve done so far despite being huddled in a corner or hiding behind my partner due to fear. The puzzles were all very intriguing to continue the rooms story and unique, definitely had to do some out of the box thinking for this one. Live actor scares were perfectly timed and even the puzzles scares had me jumping back in fright and wonder. Canβt wait to come back and get redemption one day to escape in this room! Update: we got redemption and escaped! They remembered us from the first time and went higher with π©πscale

The vibe was dark, spooky and a bit scary. Because of the scare factor, the room itself is 70 mins instead of the usual 60 mins. Overall, an excellent room with good puzzles.

Going into the room I was expecting lots of scares and spooky puzzles. Unfortunately it was mainly quick pop ups and jumps that occurred in a room that was literally just a living room so the immersion wasnβt really there for me. The storyline was confusing throughout, it chose a strange reason for why we were in the house itself and then made it even more confusing with the story elements that were meant to connect through. Getting let in through to a scarier room then having to crawl out back into an earlier room to βwinβ felt like an unsatisfying ending as it didnβt really explain why we were able to get through the now unlocked door apart from the fact that the Game Master had come to get us. Was rather disappointed at the scare factor and storyline but the room was dressed decently and had a lot of puzzles.

Some locks were a bit worn and difficult to read in the dim lighting, another clue was also almost fully rubbed off which we brought to the attention of the game master. A couple of non-puzzle props were also seemingly broken and hot glued which felt a bit cheap and tacky for how much we paid to play.

Based on some previous reviews my friends and I were led to believe that F.E.A.R was amongst the scariest experiences Sydney had to offer. Unfortunately it didnβt live up to that kinda hype but it still had some fun moments with quite a lot of puzzles to go through. The storyline became more and more confusing/obscure as it went on but thatβs usually the deal with horror rooms.
