The Executioners Toolshed did not disappoint. Very Dark room. Spooky atmosphere and sometimes quite scary. Our Game Master Tara was Brilliant. Very welcoming had a giggle when we thought the Foyer was a puzzle room and Part of the room. (We had never been before) so didn’t know what to expect. We were given the storyline and we escaped with 2 seconds on the Clock. It was a thrilling room and we will be back to continue the story with The Atonement

Tara was an excellent Game Master. Lovely to chat with, made us feel very welcome. While waiting in the waiting room. Our team thought it was a puzzle room. Tara said it was going to be fun watching us trying to escape and we didn’t disappoint. We had a great experience and a great time. Thank you Tara.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

Very Dark. Pitch black and full on.

Story

The story made sense. You actually felt like you were stuck in a tool shed at the hands of an executioner. The loud bangs on the walls filled the story line and delivered the purpose with the storyline and the room.

Difficulty

Hard

Hard to expert level. Level 4 difficulty. We had 3 people in our group and only had 2 seconds remaining on the clock. Listen to the Game master and make sure you read everything.

Scary

Not being able to see what’s in front of you without the use of a little hand held light and not knowing if the executioner was in the room. Kept you on your feet.

The Executioner's Toolshed executed a truly uneasy, on theme experience. It made good use of the space and had a fun moment with the scare actor. Our friendly game master Tiff was lovely and took charge of our games with much enthusiasm.

Far out! Definitely a thriller! Fully immersive, feel like you’re in an executioners shed! Not for the faint hearted. Very creative puzzles, following a linear path. We loved it. Keziah is an amazing game master and love the read through at the end, nice touch.

Loved the notes on us although a few were wrong. Expensive room for what it is. Very easy room.

I loved the notes on the things we said and did whilst in the room. I have never experienced this but feel it would be fun to hear more often. Funny the things you don’t remember whilst concentrating on escaping a room haha.
