Exciting room! Although it wasn’t necessarily “scary” it maintained a great atmosphere throughout. The set and sound design paired together perfectly, creating an immersive experience. The mechanics were incredibly cool and truly wowed our group. The puzzles flowed well and offered a great mix of puzzle types, allowing everyone to contribute based on their different strengths. I loved the concept of a serial killer who enjoys escape rooms so much that he created his own how clever! Overall, nothing has topped this experience. The little gags and satirical comedy really added to the charm. Our car ride home and the days that followed were spent talking about our time in this room. Oh, how I wish I could experience it again with my memory wiped! 10/10 Thank you Jeremiah our amazing GM
Flowed well. Puzzle sequence made sense and nothing was left unanswered.
Amazing set. Owners (husband and wife) has a background on set design and it clearly shows. Nice to chat with the owner on how some effects were made/executed.
Super accommodating. After our play through our GM answered all and any questions we had. Very clear this is a room was made with passion.

Everyone’s scare tolerance is different. I am personally a scaredy cat LOL. I did find myself covering my eyes.. BUT not for long. The room wasn’t made with the intention to be scary. Obviously it does have elements of horror movies but not all too scary.

I really enjoyed this room. It was a lot of fun to play a room that poked fun of horror rooms. It has the set of your typical horror themed room without having you feel on edge the entire time…..or at all. I was really curious to see how a spoof on a horror room would go and how they would be able to add humor, but they definitely pulled it off. From the poster in the lobby talking about too much use of black light, way too many directions for the directional lock, crawling for the sake of crawling, etc., (see picture), to the over the top and hilarious intro video, to making fun of the waivers, the jokes came through and it was a ton of fun. All the while being surrounded by a typical gory, horror set. I really enjoyed this. Give it a try if you haven’t played it yet.

The owner is very friendly and great to chat with about the hobby.

The immersion at the beginning of this room is so funny yet sets the scene so good, they really did an amazing job with this room. Felt like a typical horror room but the spoofs were so well executed to not remove the immersion but continue the story. Wish we would have done this room way sooner!

A parody of classic escape rooms, 13th Basement is a great idea with a beautiful design and classic feel. Harkening back to the escape rooms of yore, this one uses locks, blacklight, and fake outs to poke fun at their absurd, sometimes convoluted nature. The Saw references and gore are perfect for any horror enthusiasts and it feels perfect for a group of beginners and experts alike.

A fun room with a play one horror movies! Even if you're a little scared of scary stuff, I'd recommend playing the room! Our game master was fantastic and the room was great.

I highly recommend this room to all players - yes, even those who are scaredy cats like me 🤣. The setup and decor was amazing! This placed looked small, but there were so many rooms. Loved it 👏👏👏
