High Noon

This was not our favorite but ultimately was okay. Slightly less immersive and tech forward than other rooms. We had a little trouble getting started, as a lot of info is readily available at the onset of the game with no real obvious starting point. On one occasion we requested a hint (firmly pressed green button), but this request was never acknowledged. We were told not to hit the button multiple times, so we just continued and ultimately determined how to move forward. It was at least 10 min that we were not acknowledged. We later requested another hint when having trouble with a lock. Despite having the correct code, one lock required force significantly in excess of force used with other locks in the room. We requested a hint several times when it didn't open and received the same hint each time before the host confirmed we had been entering the correct code. At this point, we were able to manipulate the lock a bit and move forward. Otherwise, the room was fine, just not our favorite, with the hint request issues detracting from the experience.

Fun room, but a bit difficult for two people. There were a lot of locks, and things weren’t very obvious. Love the theme, but not our favorite at MER.

A very fun western themed room! We even got out before noon 🤠

This room was easy, but we overthought it and missed some really easy elements early on. We ended up skipping parts by overthinking, so while we did get ahead, it would've been faster to just follow the story. There was at least one puzzle that we were stuck on, but in hindsight it does make sense. Another great, fun room from MER.

Number 4 all time at the time of playing. If you love a western theme, then you will enjoy this one. Our groups only hangup was on the first puzzle then it was a really satisfying jaunt to clear our name. There are minor pyrotechnics at a certain point, so be warned, in a good way.

This room was a fun time with a lot of fun puzzles and one in particular that was really unique!

Based purely on theme, we weren’t expecting to enjoy this one as much as we did. It was a bit slow to start, but once the ball (or tumbleweed) got rolling, it was a lot of fun. MER has a very distinctive style and we love how they design their experiences.
