It was a fun idea for a game. Carnival themes are usually my jam because I love physical puzzles, but there was definitely an aggravating physical puzzle in this game and even more aggravating was that the gamemaster had to come in to physically adjust something after it was solved so our key would fall. We had another confusing moment where we did the puzzle but the tech didn’t trigger and we thought it did so we had to ask for a hint later to find out we just didn’t trigger the tech and had to redo something we’d already done to get a code given to us. This game isn’t bad, it’s just a bit old and could use some love from the design/build team to make sure it’s all working properly and give the room a little touch up. I enjoy how the stories tie together from game to game at this location. The staff is super nice. Also when you win to get to hit a button and celebrate which I love ❤️
It was a little confusing to know what puzzle went with which lock. We also weren’t able to tell what was triggered by solving puzzles. I found the flow clunky. I also was annoyed by tech issues. I spent way too long doing a physical puzzle only to have the tech fail and the gamemaster had to run in and knock the key down for us. We also saw the sensors in another puzzle and knew exactly what to do but it didn’t seem to trigger anything then we found something and thought that must have been what fell only to later have to ask for a hint and find out the tech didn’t trigger and we had to do that again.
The floor is pretty trashed in the game and some of the set pieces are showing wear and tear, but the ideas in the set design are fun. It gets a little weird toward the end and doesn’t really seem like the story we started with was where we ended based on the atmosphere.
Dallas was nice.

Fun game with a lot of carnival games and puzzles. Some unique rooms and puzzles. Not too difficult if you can get past all the games! Well done and fun.

First time at Red Door Escapes. While as other corporate escape room experience, it’s really enjoyable. Overall the GMs are really great and always there to make our experience better. Love how their room or “episodes” are connected. Fair Game really brings out the the carnival experience. We really only had an issue with one skill based challenge which set us back a few minutes but still an awesome aesthetic.
