It's a completely renovated Grand Immersia Hotel that's celebrating tonight its official reopening. The creme of la creme of Quebec's people are expected in the iconic lobby, but the event could be a catastrophe... Will it be your fault?

The real highlight of this room is the set design : itβs spacious, beautifully crafted, and full of thoughtful details ! The storyline is original and offers much more than just a simple hotel visit, with a great twist that keeps things engaging. The character involved adds a fun layer to the experience and really helps drive the narrative forward. Some of the puzzles felt a bit too easy or overly guided, but that didnβt take away from how much fun we had. Overall, we had a blast, and Immersia continues to be one of my favorite escape room companies π«Ά

The set/decor for this game was nice, capturing the feeling of an older fancy hotel. The puzzles felt a little sparse for the space, though I guess that's a tradeoff between making them feel somewhat natural vs. implausibly packed - I would have preferred more puzzles, personally. I appreciated the optional sidequest puzzle, as well as the GM reminding us that it existed before we accidentally finished the main path. I didn't really like the story/theme - it didn't click for me, and the recorded actor got on my nerves, but that's probably just me.

From the moment the instructional video ended we were instantly immersed in the world of the Grand Immersia Hotel. This room is a must-play. Large and detailed space, committed actors, strong narrative, puzzles that made logical sense for the narrative, and even great choices of background music (I heard some iconic Sleep No More songs!). Some of the most impressive highlights were the timekeeperβamazing design choiceβand the possibility of an alternative ending. While our team escaped with the main ending, simply discovering the alternative ending was magical in itself. Huge props to Immersia for this knockout game, I truly felt like the main character in a suspenseful action movie.

Felt on edge the whole time, in the best way :))
Accessibility
One puzzle requires the ability to differentiate colors. One moment requires going up a few steps, and there are moments in the game in which players have to hide, which may be difficult if one is unable to crouch down. Lastly, this game may not be suitable for some folks with PTSD.

A must play at this location, in my opinion. Very fun puzzles that will have your team scrambling, and an innovative ending that you get to choose. With five people, it didn't bottleneck until the very end. Game master was great!

Immersia is a must play location. The Grand Hotel Immersia is the perfect place for that vacation getaway, you just have to get there first. The set is pretty impressive and the flow was very good. We had one technical glitch early on that we chuckled about, but it didn't take away from the game. We stumbled a couple times with one or two of the puzzles but those were self inflicted.
