256 escape rooms
This is a tough call to rate. The props, when they exist, are great - I've played a couple Alice games, and I think this one felt the most "Alice"-y. However, the first area feels a little empty. Puzzles were the weak point of the room. I wish puzzle signposting was better, but puzzles were fine once we got on track. An early puzzle slowly dribbled relevant information, which could be frustrating if it's the only thing left; it was also ambiguous about what was relevant. A puzzle about two thirds of the way through that seems like you have one chance to get the relevant information; if you miss it, you'll need to take a hint to recover, which didn't feel great either. Audio levels were a bit of a problem - some sound effects were oddly loud, while some dialog wasn't loud enough. Overall, I think the great props outweighed the negatives I mentioned, but I could see a reasonable person disagreeing. I think it might come down to how much you like an Alice theme - if it doesn't do anything for you, there are probably better rooms.
