You receive an official letter, written in Russian, then awkwardly translated. It informs you of the violent death of a certain Alexei Vronski… a distant cousin you’ve never heard of. The consulate insists: you’re the only living relative, and it’s up to you to identify him. Reluctantly, you fly to a remote region of Russia. There, an austere morgue awaits you, half-abandoned, shrouded in fog and silence. The atmosphere is heavy, almost oppressive. Something is wrong in the building, in the shifty looks of the staff, in the cold that seems to seep down to the bone. But it’s just a corpse to recognize… isn’t it? Can you hold your ground in this unhealthy, terrifying environment? Will you be able to distinguish reality from illusion as the Morgue seems to close its claws on you? Can you get out of this hell in one piece? Only the Morgue will tell you…

Great game with a well executed theme! The beginning of the game really got me out of what I am usually used to in an escape game. I wouldn’t say it’s an horror type of game, but if were comparing to a movie kind, I’d say it’s more of a suspense. The atmosphere really is what made me like this game, because the puzzles weren’t that much creative and complex, but still had a really great time playing Succession De John Jackson, never disappointed by Sauve Qui Peut!
