This was a very cute game. We are 4 adults, but this would be a fun family friendly game for kids too. Linear in set-up, simple but clever puzzles, and a cute story line.

You! Yeah you! I need your help, not because I couldn't find anyone better, well... I couldn't, but because you're the best there is... Left... You're my only hope to get my true love to go on a date with me! Please!

This was an adorable game, though a bit easy for a group of 6 experienced players. Even being easy, there was 1 puzzle that stumped us all that we needed a little nudge on. Besides that one, it was smooth sailing. Very cute set decor here with cute puzzles, and this is a great beginner room / room for kids.

We played this with 6, but I believe this would be easily doable with 2.

This is one of the most accessible game at Escaparium. No crawling or ladders required, no steps between rooms.

This is an adorable room that I would definitely recommend for families or first time escape room players! The story is a little odd and ends up being funny if you stop and think about it. Supposedly, you're helping your Lego friend clean up his apartment for a dinner date, but you actually end up trashing the place in the long run. Logic aside, you will have a lot of fun while doing it! The set is pretty amazing! It looks as if someone found a way to blow up a Lego set to human size. The details are stunning and there is a lot of fun stuff to discover as you play. The tech does a lot of the heavy lifting here. The fish tank and windows act like monitors and provide you the path to complete the room. Your Legoland guide is funny and adds a great dose of charm to the proceedings. The puzzles are on the easier side but still might you off guard if you overthink them. Absolutely adorable and definitely worth playing.

A great room for both kids and adults. With a humorous storyline, there’s something for everyone. The puzzles are easy enough for kids to solve on their own, though they might need a little help getting started. The decor is very immersive. Here, there’s no worry that a child might break something—everything is designed with that in mind; nothing is fragile, and everything is safe. We had a lot of fun doing this room; we laughed several times. The only thing I find a shame: this room is perfect for introducing kids to escape rooms—they get hooked as soon as they leave—but unfortunately, it’s pretty much the only room suited for kids and designed just for them. We want more!!! 😋👌

Bernie Bloc is really intuitive and hassle-free—perfect for younger kids who want to try out escape rooms and have some fun. In my opinion, it’s not a masterpiece, but it’s a great experience. Even for adults and teens, there’s plenty of fun to be had trying to power through the whole game as fast as possible. Try to beat my remaining 35 minutes! BOOM!!!

If you're a fan of Lego (which I am), you'll appreciate Bernie Bloc. While it's nowhere near the experience of the more premium games at Escaparium, it's still a pretty enjoyable basic game with a great theme. Gameplay is very linear, which is probably good if you're playing with children.

Fun, simple room. We made it ever so slightly harder by only allowing communication using a single word.

Cute but might be a little simplistic for experienced players. Puzzles didn't require any puzzling (just inputting information you find around the room). I do wish we had been offered the more difficult version I'm just now reading about (non-verbal communication - that could've added to the experience!) A few set pieces seem to need a repair but no puzzles were broken! A certain hole on the wall seemed like it was a remnant of an old puzzle which left us wishing there was just a little more, or that a small 4 legged friends might visit us.
Staff is tops here no doubt!

Are you new to escape rooms? Do you have child(ren) with you? If you answered yes to either of these, you will love this game. It is simple, but not patronizing, and a fun romp. If you are an experienced escape room enthusiast, you will find this room entirely too simple. However, if you try the room with the stipulation that nobody can speak (which we did), the difficulty level ramps back up and you'll find it a worthwhile go.

For experienced escape room players, Bernie Block is likely to be too easy, but the game would be a terrific introduction to escape rooms for children. The story is simple, the set is cute (although a little worn), and the puzzles aren’t too challenging. The game has no stairs or other physical challenges, and there is a place to sit down. Final grade. B
Gameplay is good for a simple escape room for children. GM interaction is via walkie-talkie, which I don't love, but it worked.
Very cute set and props.
Love the team at Escaparium Laval!
Yes
The game is essentially made out of huge LEGO blocks, which is fun.
I wouldn't say the game has much of a story, although there is a thin narrative holding it together. As a simple game that children could play, the story is fine.

The room is spacious, so a larger team could play and not feel cramped. A larger team would probably finish the game very quickly, though.
Not scary
There is nothing scary in this game.
6
This game could be played by children. The setting and puzzles are appropriate for younger players, props are large enough for small hands, and the videos that move the story along are designed for children.

The game shows its age. Some of the sensors seemed a little slow to react. One setpiece was broken and kind of glued back together, and it was hard to tell if that was intentional or if the piece was actually broken.
No
No actors in the room; a video with an animated character provides story points, but players cannot interact with him.
Not at all
No physical demands at all.
This game requires no climbing or crawling, and the room has a place to sit down. Pattern and color recognition, scent differentiation, and listening are required for a few puzzles.
