Rating: 4/5 - Fun, sci-fi theme with all tech and a cute character Pros: ➕Lighting and audio design is wonderful, spotlights made it clear what you need to work on. ➕Set looks fantastically futuristic and appropriately weathered, everything is custom built. ➕There's a cute, funny character in the room with great voice acting. ➕Multiple rooms to discover and explore. ➕Fun puzzles that fit the narrative, everything made sense, not too hard or easy. ➕Some teamwork/communication required. ➕Decent storyline. ➕All tech, no padlocks, many interactions were physical or tactile. ➕There is a moment involving a decision with a consequence. Room for improvement: ➖Some puzzles needs to be repeated multiple times at increasing difficulty, I wish there were more variety. ➖The ending wasn't as exciting as I hoped. We played as a team of 3 enthusiasts (paid for 4 and one thing kinda needed more than 3 pairs of hands) and finished with 20+ min left and no hints. There is at least one minor jump scare but overall it's not scary or spooky. No crawling or climbing required. My ranking of all 6 rooms here: 1. The Sorcerer's Secret ❤️ 2. The Lost Shipwreck❤️ 3. For an escape room that’s over 7 years old, this one holds up reasonably well. It’s tech-heavy, with the majority of the puzzles requiring you to push some sort of button (there are no padlocks). This homogeneity also contributes to the room feeling a little sterile, and it lacks the je nais se quois of Crypto’s other rooms. There is also no searching for items in this room. Most of the puzzles were collaborative, requiring 2 or more people to complete. One puzzle required 4 players, but our group of 3 enthusiasts was able to figure out a creative workaround. We finished in about 38 minutes, so I’d consider the difficulty of this room to be “easy.” The physical footprint of the room is unusually large, so this would be a great room for larger-sized groups of newer players My favorite thing about this room is that you need to make a decision at some point in the experience…and that decision has consequences.

This is an older room but the tech was definitely ahead of its time! Some really amazing high-tech moments with a good dose of interactive puzzles, albeit a little repetitive at times. A couple of special mechanisms and moments made it a memorable experience.

Really immersive. Great tech and fun storyline. Puzzles are repetitive but still pretty interactive. Need a group of 4-5 for sure. My favorite at this location.

Most of this room is electronic, fun gameplay but some of the enigmas are not evident of what to do. All in all the room was cool and we had fun

Good room, the theme and set fit very well together, the twist mid way through gives you a great challenge the only knock is that a lot of the puzzles are very repetitive
