We did both rooms and they were both great!!! Joyce was a wonderful game master! Both rooms had fun puzzles and the right amount of challenge. Highly recommend both!

Worthy of all the great reviews and awards! I had this room wishlisted on Morty and we had a chance to do it yesterday and I'm happy to report it lived up to the hype!! TLDR - Amazing team (shout out Joyce, our gamemaster), Immersive Theming, Clever and Unique non-linear puzzles, even a bit of the soundtrack from the Sherlock (Cumberbatch) tv show. Our team ranging from 5 to 70 loved it! Now for some details: The team was super nice. Joyce helped check us in, making sure our waivers were ready and was also our game master. Note - have the team sign the waivers online before coming to the game, it saves a bunch of time. She helped pump us up with excitement while we waited for our full team to arrive for the game. I loved that when you first step in the room, they ask you to close your eyes while the narrator is delivering the intro speech. It truly sets the tone, and helps you switch from just being in the lobby to being at the gates of Moriarty's Manor. They had a little bit of the Sherlock TV show soundtrack playing at times, and those familiar with the show (and who love it as much as I do) will be filled with glee when you hear it at the beginning and end of the game. I love that it has multiple rooms to go through ... keeps things pretty suspenseful because you neer really know how close you are to the end. This was our team's 19th escape room, and honestly ranks in the top 5. We also felt like it was the best our team has ever done in terms of piecing together clues and not being stuck for too long. The games are non-linear, so everyone can pitch in instead of working on 1 puzzle at a time. I don't know if I would recommend this for a team smaller than 4 because there are a few puzzles that require teamwork. Our team consisted of a 5 year old at the youngest, and 70+ year old at the eldest. Everyone was able to pitch in and help solve the puzzles. We all loved it. The theming was on point. Dark and mysterious (not too dark), they really made it feel like we were rummaging through Moriarty's Manor. Perfect set pieces and atmosphere throughout. There is plenty of parking on weekends. They have 2 designated spots out front just for them (if needed). Highly recommend !! Book it now !! The Game is Afoot !! Thank you Joyce for helping make it so fun for our team!!

This a good game - if it had lasted a little longer it would have been a great room. Our family of four finished in less than 35 minutes so I’d say it’s more of a medium difficulty, not hard. Lots of great puzzles, good variety. Definitely recommend trying this if you’re in the San Diego area!
Very good flow and progression through each room. Novel and varied puzzles but nothing super unique, (at least for a team that has done over 130 rooms) but most groups will encounter things they probably haven’t seen before so definitely recommend trying it!
Well done - good production value
Joyce was nice, friendly.

Sherlock/Moriarty plots abound in the escape room world, and this one was good.

This is one of my favorite escape games ever. My group of 3 thoroughly enjoyed this game full of unique and clever puzzles. There were a decent amount of locks, but also quite a few novel puzzles that didn’t rely on tech. The story was interesting and the rooms were fantastic. I particularly appreciated just how many puzzles there were per room, they several were non linear and how some really required teamwork to solve. Charlie was our game master and she was really great with the hints and everything. My main suggestion is to keep in mind that there are multiple rooms and many puzzles per room. I wish I could do this one again

This game was very fun and interactive and well thought out. We did both at MindFox and can’t wait for their next one to come out this summer hopefully!
The puzzles were a great combination of logic as well as lock codes. It flowed well and the design was clean. One thing really got us but we should have known better. A small hint got us going again and it was very fun!
Set design was nicely done. At first it seemed basic but the starting spot was simple. It extends to so much more interesting areas that were full of puzzles.
Isabella and Charlie were so kind and we had great conversations about escape rooms and they pointed out that the two here (we did both) were designed by the owner and we could tell the thought that went into them. They also reminded us to return for their newest that will hopefully come out this summer!
Yes
Not “different” given that Sherlock is spread across the Escape genre but I will say their design made interesting and some things I hadn’t seen before. Some of the tasks were nicely done in terms of making it a team effort. With only 2 of us it was doable but I could see a larger group having a great time and the design helps that big time!
Again, story lines are fun but not the most important to us. Instead the way it was themed abs consistent stood out!
Hard
There were some things that were clear but as a seasoned escape player it wasn’t simply by any means. However it wasn’t frustrating. Game players would understand what I mean. It requires some thought and teamwork but it wasn’t like “what?!?” And it made sense
High tech
I don’t have a choice to say somewhere in the middle. It was a good blend of the two

We did with 2 but I think it could be nicely played with 5 or maybe al more depending on the group etc. Communication is a big part of it so having input is nice. However I usually don’t like larger groups with chaos and too many cooks in the kitchen ;-P
Not scary
It was fun but no scary parts. Some dark areas if people don’t like the dark maybe but not scary and doesn’t last long

Great room! Tons of puzzles that were all very different. Got stuck a few times on the more challenging puzzles but we’re able to either work through them or get a helpful nudge from the game master. Love the ability to have multiple things for a group to work on separately or together. Had an awesome time and am exited to check out the other room. Thanks to the game hosts for saving us in the end ;).

Great variety of puzzles!

Probably medium /hard. It wasn’t too hard but a few puzzles def had us stumped for awhile. I loved the challenge without it being too hard or frustrating.

One of my most favorite escape rooms of all time! 😁 We escaped this room by the skin of our teeth. 😅😮💨 I love, love the theme of this room and the storyline. I love that the puzzles were creative and challenging ... and the props in the rooms just create the perfect ambiance. There were also multiple rooms ... 🤭 So you may think you're about to escape, but nope ... there's another room with new sets of puzzles to solve. 😆 Overall, very fun room. It deserves all the awards it got through the years, a must escape room for Sherlock Holmes fans. 🔎

Note to our Game Masters Isabella and Jenna–I’m sorry if this wasn’t your name! Kept forgetting to review and it slipped my mind. They were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. They welcomed us and it was a good experience right off the bat! The room itself was great and pretty immersive. There were interesting and out-of-the-box puzzles. We were a group of 6 and there was enough for everyone to do! Puzzles weren’t too hard and fun Easter eggs for fans of the theme. I do recommend this room! I think it’s a bit more for experienced players, but overall a fun and great experience!
