You have been hired as private investigators to gather evidence against a suspected serial killer. After hearing of several missing persons alerts, it is time for you to step in and finish this hunt for the truth. Investigate Ted Gein's apartment, and bring the criminal to light in order to receive payment for your service. Manage the two on-going investigations and you'll be successful in this horror escape room. As a bonus in this horror escape room experience, you will record footage that you will be able to keep with you after the game! Discover as much as possible about the killer while fighting a clock as you gather evidence. Try to find out not just what he did, but also what he is.. While struggling to find evidence against the killer, you must also bring hard evidence of missing persons in order to get paid for your service. Manage the two on-going investigations and you'll be successful in this horror escape room. You must also be careful. Thereβs padded flooring where you have to crawl which was nice and when you hide itβs relatively small spaces. You donβt really have to run but itβs not a long distance if you do.

My group and I ended our escape room day with this room and sadly, the hype did not live up to our experience. When they say pitch black, this room had no ounce of light in the beginning whatsoever. We were expected to use the red dot from our flashlight to move around and they didnβt give everyone a flashlight so it was hard to navigate. The scares were also not as good because we were just hiding in select areas of the room but our game masters did the best they could with the design they had! The storyline and the puzzles also need some work to make this experience a memorable one. Overall, this was just a miss but we also know that the owners are considering a revamping of this room.

My group and I had a great time. It was a perfectly balanced horror escape room that had a great flow. This was a linear style puzzle flow but the immersion kept everyone engaged. Our game Master (Deepak) was amazing and one of the best that I have ever worked with. Overall, Escape Room Era was a great time and I am looking forward to trying their other rooms.

The storyline, props and gamemaster need work to make this room good. This room is good for 4 people unless you want to be standing in the dark with nothing to do. Some lights werenβt working, the game master was hard to understand, β¦.this was just a miss overall.

Are you scared of the dark? I bet you would be in The Hide! My friends and I finally did this room and the suspense was a whole βnother level!!! Our host Zach did a great job setting the scene at the start and I was legit scared. He was also our serial killer!!! Giselly was the voice on the radio and guided us through the investigation! She definitely got our hearts beating like a nail! I normally donβt like using radios for hints but it was awesome with The Hide. The puzzles were straight forward but challenging in darkness. Iβve done a lot of scary rooms in the OC, some award winning ones and one with full contact, but The Hide really made my hair stick up. Itβs definitely the rush from hiding and the not knowing what lurks in the darkness with you.

Had an amazing time with this room! Having just done one with a similar gimmick we found the execution here to be awesome! Game wasnβt super scary though did a really great job of building tension and had a couple great jumps for folks in our group. The layout and puzzles were satisfying to complete. Special props to the staff. David on the phone was amazingly helpful and kind. Then at the venue Jacob, Gage, and Stephanie were absolutely incredible hosts and really went the extra mile to leave what Iβm sure will be a long lasting impression. Thanks a ton!
