You are Robert Montgomerie, the only remaining direct heir to the Kildermorie Estate and the Montgomerie family fortune. You’re attending a family gathering, hosted by your Grandfather, Hugh ‘Monty’ Montgomerie, the 9th Earl of Kildermorie to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium. As the guests raise a toast, a scream fills the air…Your Grandfather is found dead in the library - and it looks like MURDER! Suddenly, you’re bundled into the Drawing Room and the door is locked. Confused, you bang on the door and call for help until it dawns on you... that as the direct heir, all fingers are pointed at you! You realize you’ve been framed! But who would want to kill your Grandfather… and why? You overhear the Police being called, but know that, as the Kildermorie Estate is hidden deep in the Scottish Highlands, it will take them 60 minutes to arrive. The only evidence that proves your innocence is hidden in the Mansion… For centuries, the Montgomerie family assigned a single gatekeeper to its secret family history. The Earl’s sudden demise means he can no longer pass-on these secrets, but the wise old man ensured there was sufficient evidence, hidden throughout the family residence, should anything unexpected happen to him! What he didn’t anticipate is you’d need to uncover these secrets in only 60 minutes! Will hidden clues reveal distant family secrets? We were running late and they started the clock after 5 minutes (which is pretty standard). We expected a higher number of clues with more locks, but it was still engaging and fun. With 2 people, we needed a couple of hints and got out in a little less than 40 minutes.

Some of the puzzles are too clunky in terms of mechanics and take long to solve once you figure them out. It’s not that they were difficult or very clever

Visual theming of this room was great, but some of the puzzles just seemed disconnected and left us needing some clues. Very immersive room.

We did two rooms here and ate at their restaurant in between. Love the concept of the combination of bar/restaurant/escape room. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic and cared! Exceeded expectations for a franchise. This room was well layed out. I loved a couple of the more unique uses of "furniture" in their puzzles. There was one math problem that got us caught up.

Started off by not finding the initial clue. Wasted 10+ minutes until we needed a hint. Everything went quick. We ‘cheated’ and shaved some time off by not having to decipher the wooden blocks.

My family had fun. The mechanics were outstanding. I really appreciated how well the puzzles were built and how flawless the mechanics operated. I get so bummed when I’m in a room with shotty mechanics.

One of my favorite rooms at this location due to the fun interactive puzzles and funky decor. We had 6 people, but could've done it with 4 people since the room is very linear. The last puzzle was hard to solve, but once we got it we felt like we conquered the world! Room is mostly interactive with not many traditional lock combos to use.
