7 Deadly Sins

trickier than i was expecting! orient express is still my favourite game at this location, but this is a solid game :D

Theme was on point well enough, and had some fun digital pieces to it. I didn’t think the puzzle items made as much sense and some felt like the logic for solving was too forced. We got stuck for a while needing to reference three different things together which felt more complicated than it should have been.

Gameplay didn’t really flow well and the game master wasn’t very responsive. We struggled with a hint that led no where and didn’t progress us in the game. When the game master came in at the end she had trouble explaining some of puzzles. I’d give this room a 4/10 mostly for the atmosphere

The ambience was cool, the story was cool, the puzzles were interesting but the tips didn't make sense.

Hello Awesomeness! Seven Deadly Sins is far and away the best game at Escapeology! It has the right level of creepiness matched with the perfect level of puzzles and difficulty. I am not going to stop saying how great this room is! There needed to be a little upkeep, one of the keys opened every lock in the room. I had to stuff it in my pocket to forget it existed just so I wouldn't feel the need to cheat. You might see my other reviews for this place, and you'll see I didn't like the staff, this was the one execution. The GM was utterly amazing! The owner, or manager, I am not sure what her title was, wasn't the most plseant, but on this day she actually smiled at us.

Several puzzles were not intuitive and far too abstract to figure out how you would decipher the clue without help from the game master. Very frustrating

Good theme and flow but some of the puzzles took extra time due to warn pieces or unintuitive jumps required to solve without hints.

The room was put back together wrong and they left one puzzle open. Later in the room we needed something from that puzzle and called for them to help. The staff gave attitude when told that the puzzle was left open. They never started the timer again and we had no clue where we were at. Overall staff was unpleasant. Really ruined the whole experience. Don’t recommend this location.

This was pretty lackluster. The atmosphere was cool. Regardless, the story was pretty clunky. They use paper and big staples for some puzzles, and one of them cut a pretty big slice of skin off my finger. Not a paper cut, mind you. A slice of skin. Was bleeding, but they didn’t really care. The puzzles aren’t very fun, and some of them are pretty clunky or random. I have to say that the fx were cool in some parts though. I like creepy rooms, but this one was just meh at very best.
