Some things I liked about the experience was some of the creative puzzles and set design. The architecture of the place was good. There were a few puzzles that felt more unique, ones that you might not find elsewhere. However there were some issues with the escape room. Some of the puzzles were simply guess and check, not intuitive at all. Additionally you can very easily hear everything else going on in the building. My group easily heard a hint being given in another room, and we stopped to listen because it sounded loud enough that we thought it was talking to us. Another thing would be the amount of screens. This is just personal preference but I believe that an overwhelming amount of digital screens takes away from the immersion.
Most of the puzzles were very intuitive. However there were a few that were simply trial and error, something that should be avoided in escape rooms.
The room itself had nice architecture and atmosphere. However you can easily hear everything else going on in the building which distracts greatly from the immersion. Additionally there were a lot of screens, which this is just personal preference, but I prefer real props as opposed to screens. It takes away from the experience, especially when you can hear and see the screens loop and know their starting point.
It was average. Nothing special but it wasn’t bad.
Particularly interesting or different
No
There was the occasional unique puzzle or interesting concept, however it was mostly fairly standard. I would not say it was particularly difficult. I went with a group in which only two of us have played escape rooms and the other three had never, and we easily escaped with 8 minutes left.
The story was there and followable but it was not particularly memorable.
Much of the experience was incredibly intuitive. I think anyone with basic escape room knowledge could most likely escape.
It was kind of in between. There were a ton of locks, but there were also a lot of screens and some animatronics.
I would not bring too many. Anymore than 5 some people would probably be bored and not doing anything at some points.
I agree with the 12+ rating
Nothing was broken per se but we had to do one of the puzzles twice because it didn’t trigger.
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
The actual game itself is fairly accessible, however there is a large set of steep stairs to get into the building.
There is a parking lot nearby but it is paid parking.
