The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

The first room had a predictable special effect but was fun. Overall the whole experience needs TLC and updates to their puzzle. Maybe good for first time players.

The rooms are theme pretty nice here, but the owner is an absolute jerk. So not only do you have to escape the rooms but you also have to escape the owner. We’ve noticed if you post anything about him, he goes ballistics and loses his mind.

This munchkins drive me nuts. Lol But great room. Would recommend.

Ok so here is the thing…every review that talks about loud sounds from the atmosphere of this building is correct. After walking up really steep stairs you’ll get to the main waiting area which is a bit small and when we arrived there were a lot of groups waiting for their room to start and it was soooo loud. It was also overstimulating. Once we were able to start our game you could still hear some people from the main waiting area but one of the worst parts of this game is how quiet the character voices are in the room. It was hard to understand what they were saying which was disappointing. While the set design is super cool, the puzzles are lacking in puzzle flow. The puzzles felt clunky and I wish they had been thought through better. It felt like you were just buying a ticket to ride a ride. If you’re looking for an amazing set design then this is the place for you; however, if puzzle flow and design is important to you then I would skip this location all together.

Most Wizard of Oz & Alice in Wonderland escape rooms blend together. The set designs are usually bright and really pretty to look at, so there needs to be more than just design to have a good room. This one was OK. Puzzling was somewhat intuitive, although at times, the flow felt a little disjointed. It’s good to have at least three or four people to cover a lot of ground. If you’re in the area, check this company out, although I would say their Dracula or vampire rooms are much better.

The review saying it’s loud and overstimulating pretty much hit all my points. Some cool tech/effects for sure, and some interesting puzzles. But overall left feeling very overstimulated.

The room is loud and a bit and overstimulating. The theme was done well. But the clues were not intuitive especially some similar style clues in the same room. And only having three hints can make it a bit difficult. There was no timer in the room.

A good nod to the books and movies while still being an escape room with good puzzles. Really enjoyed the beginning and slightly lost interest in terms of escape room puzzles as the room went on. Production value and immersiveness was very high. It was the second room done at this location on the same day.

We had a lot of fun playing this Wizard of Oz themed experience. There was a mix of generation one puzzles and tech. The game follows along with the story in the classic book starting off at the home of Aunty Em in sepia tones before dropping you off in the colorful world of Oz. The set was pretty fun to play through.

Good room, not as great as the other rooms here. It was a but puzzling at first to find out where to start. Wasn't that hard after that but fun.
