Solid like, great having a live actor to add some additional fun and immersion. The puzzles were more straight forward like the doctor room with a couple of more challenging tech focused ones, but I would say this is the 4th best out of the 5 with Yuletide Magic and Starlight Motel in the top 2.

Your standard escape room. Very cool puzzle at the end. Too short for experienced players. My personal ranking of the 5 games at the downtown location as of August '25: 1. Classified: Operation Nine Lives (just too silly not to be my #1 here. No flaws, but it's too easy with 4, I think.) 2. Starlight Motel (excellent flow and plotting, tight with good acting moments, puzzles were just OK - a superior game to Classified, but silliness wins :) ) 3. Yuletide Magic (fun, surprisingly good puzzles and Christmasy vibes) 4. Dr. Fratelli's Cabin (Very (too) easy! A great puzzle toward the end. Good beginner game... or solo game. We finished in 24 mins as 4 people. Skippable if you're low on time) 5. Inventor's Enigma (A unique puzzle at the end, but moat puzzles were a bit simple. Relatively easy overall, might be a good beginner room. Skippable if you're low on time)

A solid game, though not one that stands out to me - it's similar to good games elsewhere. Puzzles made sense, set was interesting to look at.

This is yet another impressive game by Escape Artist. While this is one of their earlier rooms, it easily stands to compete in the current market. The implementation of the game master/group into the storyline is wonderful and the puzzles flow well. This game is well worth your time and money!

Gameplay

There were quite a few puzzles in this room but they flowed relatively seamlessly from one into the next. I was prepared for this room to be more non-linear than it actually was. The puzzles made sense and were a lot of fun!

Atmosphere

In comparison to some of Escape Artist’s newer rooms, this environment is a bit more basic but it is immersive and effective nevertheless.

Customer service

The GM (I believe his name was Conner) was super welcoming and very committed to the role that he played within the storyline. He was also very good at giving us gentle nudges in the right direction when we were looking in the wrong places.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

The plot for this room was unique and the stellar execution stood apart from other rooms.

Story

Nice story and I love the way that it was introduced.

Difficulty

Medium

There were a decent number of puzzles in this room. The space is definitely big enough to accommodate large groups but our group of three experienced escape room players found that we had plenty of people to complete the room (with nearly 20 minutes to spare).

Game tech

There was a pretty solid mix.

Ideal number of players

4

Depends how experienced group members are with escape rooms. For newer players, it would be helpful to have a larger group and the space is certainly big enough to accommodate.

Scary

Minimum age

The content is definitely appropriate for younger players. Interest in puzzles (or lack thereof) should be the deciding factor for whether or not this game is appropriate for your group.

78 escape rooms

This puzzle-heavy escape room from Escape Artist Greenville was packed with clever and unique challenges, blending traditional locks with high-tech surprises. With just the two of us, we had to do a lot of running and shouting between rooms to solve everything—definitely recommend at least three players for this one. The room's lighting and sound effects added to the atmosphere. As always, Escape Artist Greenville impressed with their immersive storytelling: themed waiting areas, game masters in character, and set designs that felt theatrical. While this room didn’t quite match the mind-blowing brilliance of their top-ranked experiences (Starlight Motel, Help Wanted, Dark Lullaby, and Castle Flüffendor), it’s still a solid, well-executed escape. Perfect for both newbies and experienced players—just play this one first to fully appreciate its charm before tackling the others!

This was my first room at EAG & it was a perfect opener. One of their older rooms, but wow, so many interesting puzzles, designs all centered around a science lab! Had a great time. This company is a must-do and definitely do this room!
