Really good room. Great atmosphere from the moment you enter the door, even before you enter the game space. The theming is excellent, and the sets are varied and interesting. The puzzles are also good. 5/5.

I loved this room! I enjoyed the puzzles and I liked how you flowed through the rooms. We had 5 people and I felt like there was plenty to do. Oh and our GM was so nice and helpful!

Magnificent experience with a theme that is synergistic with its other games in both design and setting. Loved the transitions and ending. Puzzles were great mix of logic and math and stuff I have never seen before. The whole thing felt so magical like I was in a world of scholarly discovery!

Overall, this is a good escape room but not a great escape room. Some of the puzzles I felt did not fit the theme well. With a lot of multi-room experiences you can expect to spend somewhat the same amount of time in each room, but this is not true for this escape room. Also, I am not sure of this, but there were puzzles we did not do. Not sure if there are puzzles left out if you have a specific amount of people or what, but that left me confused. It’s a good room, but wouldn’t be my first recommendation.

This one was pretty interesting! I liked the concept well enough and the game play was enough that we had a pretty decent sized group and none of us were left standing around with something to do, but I also don’t think there were so many items that a smaller group wouldn’t be able to complete.

Beautiful escape rooms are my favorite kind of escape rooms, and this was one of the most aesthetically attractive games I’ve played. It was an elegant game built into an elegant space, filled with elegant puzzles. We drove out to Michigan for Erebus and this would be just as worthy a reason to visit Michigan.

Gameplay

It wasn’t very challenging, but everything was incredibly fun to engage with.

Atmosphere

Beautiful woodwork and elegant atmosphere.

Customer service

Gamemaster was very kind.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

Adaptive difficulty plus a unique setting and some of the finest implementations of common puzzle types I’ve seen.

Story

It doesn’t stand out among magical escape rooms, but it has a satisfying arc

Difficulty

Medium

We had some difficulty getting started in the first room but most puzzles are fairly easy (but still interesting).

Game tech

High tech

Very few locks and adaptive difficulty.

Ideal number of players

3

3 - 5 people would be good (more for inexperienced players.

Scary

Not scary

A little adventurous, but nothing super intense.

We found parking easily, but it would be possible to struggle with parking.
