You are in the dentist's waiting room. On the wall hangs a painting of a sad boy, in the corner is an old lamp that casts a grim light on the elegant wallpaper and on a table is a radio with classical music. Behind the door there is a stumbling sound, then a screeching dentist drill and not soon after, frightful screams. The music from the radio seems to get louder in a desperate attempt to transcend the screeching, but to no avail. Sweat is in your hands, are you next? Suddenly the door opens ...

We played The Dentist first during our visit to DarkPark in Delft, right before heading to an amazing lunch at Hermanos (just 5 minutes away). We were a team of 4 who’ve tackled over 20 rooms together, and this one definitely stood out. This is their first room created, and even now it holds up with a solid, high-quality experience. The puzzles leaned toward the analytical side, which we all enjoyed—clever, varied, and satisfying to solve. The immersion and set design were well crafted, pulling us into the eerie dental-themed narrative from start to finish. A well-rounded room and very recommended for both experienced and newer players. DarkPark’s attention to detail and storytelling was already evident even in this earlier creation.
