The Orphanage by DarkPark was the only room we played that day, with a team of 4, and we had an absolute blast. The room is perfectly themed and impressively well maintained for its age—originally built around 8 years ago as DarkPark’s third creation. We were fortunate to experience it shortly after a recent refurbishment, which really elevated the overall quality. What stood out most was the beautifully balanced spooky atmosphere—just the right amount of tension to keep you fully immersed without relying on cheap scares. It added an extra layer of depth and emotion to the already strong narrative. As expected from DarkPark, the puzzles, story, and attention to detail came together seamlessly to create a cohesive and engaging experience. With a 58% success rate, it’s the hardest of their four permanently open rooms, and it certainly kept us sharp. We escaped with just 3 minutes to spare. Highly recommended, but to make the most of it—and to increase your chances of success—it really helps to have at least a couple of experienced players on your team.
