Get ready for an adventure of a lifetime, or rather, an adventure in a whole different time! Join forces with Intrepid and explore the Tipsy Tailor, a secretive shop from the 1920’s! Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Tipsy Tailor seems to host more than just your average suit and tie. Some say it was involved in a bootlegging ring, with the uptight owner at the helm of a hidden speakeasy that produced many tonics despite the era’s prohibition laws. However, there seemed to have been at least one tonic gone bad. Poisonous, even! The Intrepid Adventure Society needs your help uncovering the secrets held both within and past the Tipsy Tailor’s walls. Will you and your team be able to procure some under the table product before it’s too late?

This escape room was Tailored really well to the theming and overall aspects of gameplay, puzzles, story, and set design. Everything was Stitched together beautifully. I cannot say enough about this room!! This room takes place during the prohibition era and the set design was incredible! Very immersive and I enjoyed how intricate and creative everything was. (fake alcohol, secret compartments, etc). Even the background music was relevant to the era! We played with a team of 4 and we were able to complete the escape room with about 5 minutes left. I would recommend a team of 4-5 players so that every player can engage with the puzzles and work as a team. The space is a lil smaller for teams more than 5, but we were still able to solve puzzles comfortably. This room is friendly and playful, more complex and surprising puzzles. Some that I’ve never seen before which is creative! I would highly recommend this game! I played it for my birthday and we still talk about it to this day lol.

The gameplay was very smooth, no red herrings, and everything made sense. It was satisfying, fun, and engaging.
I cannot say enough about the atmosphere. The set design was one of my favorite parts of this room because of the theming, props, costumes, background music, transitions, and puzzles completion. It’s very satisfying to hear a door open or a secret compartment. Lol
I loved our GM! She was so attentive to our needs, stayed in character, and immersed us in her storytelling.

Our host, Cat, was amazing. She really made the story lively and fun! It’s definitely more of a room for puzzles rather than an adventure, which is great if that’s your goal. There’s a lot of puzzles they packed into the space. A mix of old school locks and magic!

One of the best, if not the best, rooms I've ever done at Intrepid. Love the set design. Our GM was friendly. Challenging puzzles, but not too complex. Highly recommend!
