If you haven’t updated Morty in a while now’s a great time. The latest release 1.12.2 has two awesome improvements.

Activity Feed

If you tap the new 🔥 icon you’ll see an activity feed with the latest escape rooms your friends are wishlisting, rating, and reviewing.

You can use it to:
  • Check out what people are wishlisting to see what looks good to you.
  • Comment on posts to arrange a time to play next.
  • See the latest reviews at a glance and discuss in detail.

To get started go to the Connections screen and search for and follow some folks you know — or anyone who looks like their tastes might match yours!

Hide Closed Games

As we got better at indexing every escape room we could find (and you reported!) our map ended up getting cluttered with games which had opened and closed — many of them 5 or 6 years ago.

Now by default we will filter out closed games from the map.

If you want to get them back, just tap on the ellipses (...) and you can choose to show closed games.

Also if you use the search bar we will include closed games in search results as well.

More great stuff coming soon. Thanks for all your support telling us about new games and suggesting edits to fix mistakes in our database, and with all your great feature requests and feedback. Please keep it up!

See you around! ✌️
