The Abandoned CabinAdventure Rooms - Melbourne (Bourke St)Escape roomIRLThis room was likely my favourite room to date and I said that about one of their other rooms! This room felt like it had so much purpose, and went on forever. It was basically a full house! It didn’t disappoint. From jump scares, to puzzles, to music and a creepy coffin, this place didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful experience.
Secret Agents: Operation AtomshieldEvolo Room EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was probably my favourite room yet. Definitely my favourite Hobart room, but probably almost my favourite room entirely. We love the GM at Evolo and love the mix of mech/tech. Always such a great experience. The game play was really impressive and the progression throughout the game was great. Loved it!
The Gaol BreakAdventure Rooms - Melbourne (Little Collins St)Escape roomIRLThis has to be probably my most favourite room, and the start of the experience is actually so interesting. Probably not great with a partner who has the hearing and eyesight of a blind and deaf dog who hates you, but that’s okay. We got there. Room was missing a pretty important key, but yolo. Because of a few hiccups, we did not escape (our first one! Tragic). The clues were all super appropriate and made sense. I think it would be more suitable as a slightly longer time, but appreciate that most are only 60 minutes long. This was honestly so good and probably my #1 favourite room now.

221B Baker StEntombed Escape Rooms - LauncestonEscape roomIRLAnother great room by the team at Entombed. Great experience. Such a good way to do date night. This room was a challenge, but it was still really enjoyable, even if the first room really had us scratching our heads and begging for help. Sam and I really enjoy these rooms. Cannot wait for the future rooms.

The actual production and theme was okay, but it was just extremely frustrating the puzzles. 50 mins as opposed to an hour, but you can pay for the hour? Restricted clues but can pay for more? $25 for a live actor that’s watching anyway? Seemed a little cheap and frankly a bit tacky. Didn’t enjoy this room, but great if you like puzzles that will make you want to summon the dark lord.
