Alice Im Wunderland [Alice In Wonderland]
CineRoom Bamberg
Escape room
IRL
Alice in Wonderland was the last game we played on our trip and it definitely was a great start of the day because of it. This room is really adorable. The design is cute and there were some moments I reaaaaally loved (teaser: cookie). The riddles are simple, but that's exactly what I expected of this family-friendly room. The audiobook-uses were fitting and made the story a bit more immersive. Not a room if you're looking for a challenge, but a really cute room that I enjoyed being in and wouldn't want to have missed.

"Usually in escaperooms you are not allowed to climb on stuff. But this time - you have to." I LOVED how active this room was. Climbing, crawling, jumping down - everything was so much fun and reminded me of the time as a child on the playground. The room design is great and the riddles made sense for the type of room it was. The story was okay - the "plottwist" wasn't surprising considering the type of story it was. But we had lots of fun and I really loved the time I spent in there. Definitely recommended.

As someone who is easily scared and was actually afraid to play this room: this room was really fun. Me being afraid didn't last too long though, I think the "hide-and-seek" moments should have been a bit more often to not have us have a downtime for too long. But the actors still did a great job. I also loved that they had actual riddles in there, even though they weren't too hard (other horror escaperooms tend to be way too easy). The set design was really great in some parts, but not as great in the others. The story was easy to understand and to learn about while playing the game. If you are a horrorfan, I'd definitely recommend to try this one out and see for yourself.

As ghosthunters we made our way to find out what happened to the last witch of Bamberg. The set design was incredibly well done - it looked insane! The story was very interesting and the actress' play fit into it perfectly. Sadly, in my opinion, the riddles were a tad bit too easy. We did take a long time for one of the riddles due to us not opening something (so 100% our fault), but in general the riddles were really easy to solve. I would have loved it if there was a bit more challenge. But in the end, it's a great room with an insane design and if you're already there because you played Tomb Hunter, then definitely play this room, too.

I enjoyed this room. It was over way too fast, but the riddles made sense and I still had fun. The room looks exactly how it should considering the story and the actor did a good job. I wouldn't go in there with more than 3 people though (2 would be perfect), considering the size of the room.
Die Legende vom herzlosen Piraten [The Tale of the Heartless Pirate]

After hearing so many good things about this room, I was still highly skeptical. Not about the design - I was expecting that to be insanely amazing. But about the kind of escaperoom it would be. I'm not a fan of immersive rooms with too easy or no riddles at all. So believe me when I say - I was positively surprised about this room. The interactions with the actor were really funny and we loved playing along. The atmosphere was great, the music really fitting. The humor in this room was really top-notch. And most importantly - we had to solve lots of riddles. They weren't too hard, but they were fun and I utterly enjoyed them. The dreampod-thing before the escaperoom is something so simple, but also very new and I liked the idea of it a lot. In the end: I do understand the placement this room had in the TERPECA ranking and I loved playing it. Definitely recommended, even if you have never played Monkey Island before.

After using the dreampod to dream about a specific piratestory that day, we used it a second time to travel into a Cyberpunk-ess world. And I have to be honest: this one was even more impressive than the pirate one. The set design was immaculate, the riddles this time actually had us think a bit more than the ones in the other room. As someone who's not a big fan of stories about the future and robot-stuff and such - I could still see how impressive everything actually was. We had a lot of fun and while I enjoyed the pirate one more when it came to fun, this one is more enjoyable when it comes to actually playing an escaperoom. Loved it, 100% recommended.

The design of this room is actually quite nice and I really liked that they used sounds for the right atmosphere, too. The riddles were logical and good to follow. Sadly, this room doesn't have any special effects or moments where you'd go "WOW!" due to only having mechanical riddles and mostly (way too many actually) number locks. We had fun though (especially the two people playing with me, since they haven't really played many other rooms themselves before) and the room is definitely not bad.
Die Flucht aus der Anstalt [Escape From the Institution]

Nothing special to say about this room. It's pretty basic and just a classic escaperoom like those you would have played in 2015. Atmosphere and design is really basic and boring, no special effects. The story is quite fun in the beginning, but other than that, it was not a memorable experience. Riddles could have been more creative and better, they were a tad bit too easy.
Spurlos Verschwunden [Disappeared Without A Trace]
Pause & Play Hamburg St George [prev. TeamEscape]

Solid room with nice riddles. The gameplay was nice - we had a good flow - and the gamemaster did his job well. The best room pause&play has got to offer (in my honest opinion). Shouldn't be played with more than 4 people bc the room is a bit small.
