First, the game construction and build quality of the game was interesting and well done, the puzzles were fun because there was a variety of different ways you had to solve and move forward, and the nicest touch was one of the best GM’s (Keys) we’ve ever had who was highly engaged and committed to us having a great time.

The GiftRed Door Escape Room - SacramentoEscape roomIRLOur experience would have been better with a better game master. It was clear she wasn’t paying attention at times when we needed clues. She also didn’t know where we were at with a puzzle and gave the same clue several times wording it differently not realizing we already solved a portion of the puzzle. They are able to watch everyone on camera at this escape room. In the past other game masters were on top of it watching us. Either she was busy with more than one game or simply wasn’t paying attention. If you have an attentive game master I think this is a great room and a lot of fun. The theme was cool and there were a few clever puzzles. Not too many locks either. We still had a good time and will go back for other games.
