This is our favorite room in the tristate area, and is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. Nick, our host, and Frank, the owner (we think), are super friendly and passionate about their games, and it shows - the quality of the game is really exceptional. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!
Wizard Afternoon Tea®The Cauldron® Co - New YorkEscape roomIRLVery disappointing experience. - there was only one hot water kettle and it was not enough for all the participants (we had about 18 in our time slot). Our waiter actually poured water half way our tea pot, let it sit there for 7-8 minutes (while waiting for kettle to boil again), and then poured more water in to fill the tea pot after the water had become lukewarm. We had to stop him and asked for a fresh, full pot of hot water the next round so we could actually enjoy some hot tea. - All the food items were pre-selected during booking, yet it took a long time for them to be served. It was a timed experience and we were left with 10 minutes to enjoy the dessert and sandwich. Yes, they actually asked us to leave even though they had just served food 10 minutes prior. - tea was really just okay, nothing to write home about
