Lunar MissionMaze Rooms - VermontEscape roomIRLI usually love Maze Rooms but this one was not fun. The puzzles were not intuitive and some of the technology was broken. It was a harder room but not in a fun and challenging way, just more frustrating.
The LabEscape Long BeachEscape roomIRLLizzie and Kingsley are literally the best game masters/people. It’s so fun to go play with them in charge of the games. Both rooms at Escape LB are incredibly well done with thoughtful puzzles and very well designed rooms. The Lab was harder than The Queen but both SO amazing!
The Clock TowerEscape The Room - GlendaleEscape roomIRLThis is one of the worst rooms I’ve ever done. Walking into the room, the staff hadn’t reset it correctly so there was a door opened that wasn’t supposed to be and a puzzle already solved. The gamemaster didn’t understand that we were trying to explain a puzzle was solved, so we were super confused and wasted time trying to get back on track. Additionally, multiple puzzles were broken and we were left with puzzle pieces because the puzzles had either unlocked or completed themselves or by us jiggling or moving them instead of actually inserting the required pieces. There was no cohesive story line, no music in the room, and it was just a mess. It honestly wasn’t even fun because most of it was damage controlling the fact that the room wasn’t properly set up. I’ve done another room at the location before that was a bit better, but still had some broken puzzles. I really wouldn’t recommend this one.
Jurassic EscapeEscape The Room - GlendaleEscape roomIRLI’ve now done 3 rooms at this location and have been disappointed by all of them. The puzzles in this room don’t make sense and the storyline didn’t flow in the room. They could have made it so much cooler, and missed an opportunity. I would recommend other companies if you want a more immersive storyline and intellectual puzzles.
