Operation GryaznayavodaIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLA great room! There was a lot to work on simultaneously, so it was excellent for a large group. Despite the number of things to do it was always clear where to focus. Great diversity of puzzles, some fun mechanics, and a nice crescendo with the final puzzle. A little bit on the tougher side, which was perfect for our group. Overall, highly recommended.
Red GiantQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLThe story and theming were well executed, and there were a few genuinely surprising moments, including one hall-of-fame moment at the end I won’t forget. The puzzles weren’t too challenging and would be a very good room for beginners. Progression was non-linear, so it could be a good fit for a larger group. Overall a well-paced, breezy, and ultimately surprising room.
Fortune Teller [prev. Madame Neptune's Voodoo Curse]Portland Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe room flowed well and it was always clear about where to focus your attention next. I could see this being a good room for a team new(ish) to escape rooms for that reason. We completed it as a team of two, had a great afternoon with it, and the room felt well suited for our team size. Quality was consistent throughout though there weren’t any major standout puzzles or moments. Overall, light and fun.
Jurassic ToursNW Escape ExperienceEscape roomIRLCharming and not too difficult. The puzzles are well themed to the conceit, and the room features branching narrative paths with different puzzles. I enjoyed that the exposition and hint giver was incorporated into the story. Overall an enjoyable, breezy room.
