Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThe whimsical nature of the story is what really makes this room. So many moments of this room will make you smile. Every detail counts in this room, and makes everything feel so real and even magical at times. This room asks you to break the rules of a typical escape room in a couple of fun ways, so you’ll definitely want to trust your gut on this one - don’t let your fear of breaking the game hold you back, because we certainly lost some time that way. This room has a healthy mix of practical and high tech effects that make it a truly unforgettable experience.
UFO: Go For LaunchThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThis room was so unique. So many measures are taken to fully immerse you in the world and the story, but not so much that it feels alien to experienced players (pardon the pun 😝) This technology-heavy room is home to innovative puzzles and solutions that push the boundaries of what an escape experience can be.
Dead Man's ChestLabyrinth Escape Games - BoiseEscape roomIRLLoved this room! Great atmosphere and great puzzles. For our group of experienced players, we breezed through the puzzles with little difficulty, but the room was still challenging enough for us to enjoy ourselves. This was our first time at Labyrinth’s Boise location after playing a couple games at the Nampa location and it definitely matches if not surpasses the quality of the Nampa rooms. Also have to shout out that lobby, the Jungle Cruise vibes were fantastic!!
The Incredible MachineClockwise Escape Room - BoiseEscape roomIRLThis room looked really great, had a great easy-to-follow story, and had some cool surprises throughout! In terms of difficulty, it’s a bit on the easier side, but still fun for experienced players. Our host was ready to jump in to assist when necessary (shout out to Sidney!)
DetentionVirtual EscapingEscape roomVirtual I want to start off by saying I love Virtual Escaping and think they have some really brilliant rooms. That being said, this particular room had a great concept, but was ultimately frustrating. Many of the clickable items were too small or too hidden within the environment. The puzzles were great, unique ideas, but figuring out what exactly was being asked of us was at times confusing. Perhaps this is an issue that could be solved by raising the difficulty level of the room, but just know what you’re getting into if you choose to play this one.
