The Jurassic ProjectMemphis Escape Rooms - South MainEscape roomIRLOutstanding experience! There is no surprise as to why this was awarded "The Best of Morty (2023)". The design of this room is incredible. There is so much detail that total immersion immediately follows. This room has to be experienced. Our only critique is that the production value takes away a little from the game room experience as we were shepherded through the Jurassic experience. Despite that comment, this is a must-play room.

Magician's CodeMemphis Escape Rooms - East MemphisEscape roomIRLLike every other game we've played at Memphis Escape Rooms, Magician's Code is very well designed and fun to play. The theme of the room was very immersive and there were some fun, and unique, elements in the room. The room is mostly linear is the progression is very well thought out. Easily on of our favorite rooms at Memphis Escape Rooms.
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - San AntonioEscape roomIRLThe Escape Game continues to be THE standard by which other escape rooms are measured. Everything about this room is well thought out, well put together, and worked well. Prison Break is the most difficult game at this location (according to The Escape Game rating) but was a lot of fun. The puzzles are challenging but clear, the game is completely immersive, and the flow is consistent. We've thoroughly enjoyed every experience at The Escape Game.
Gold RushThe Escape Game - San AntonioEscape roomIRLAs reviewed previously, The Escape Game franchise continues to be THE standard by which all other rooms are measured. And once again, Gold Rush did not disappoint. This was one of the easier rooms at this location and was mostly linear. This would be an excellent game for a team with a few rooms under their belt. The room is very immersive and had some very fun puzzles, some of which we had not yet seen. We had a great time playing Gold Rush.
The ZerosEscape CodeEscape roomIRLWow! This was our second 90-minute (3 of us) escape room with Escape Code, and we did it back to back with "Revenge" (now closed). "The Zeros" has A LOT of puzzles to be solved in the 90 minutes. It stays with the overall theme and there is a good amount of terrain to cover. It is mostly linear and there are a variety of clues. The post-apocalyptic theme goes along with how the game runs -- there is a lot of noise and chaos. We were physically drained at the end, but we had smiles on our faces. This is a must do at Escape Code.
Riddle HighMystery MansionEscape roomIRLThis was the second time we played this room (almost exactly 4 years later) and we thoroughly enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. The theme is a lot of fun and the passion that the Mystery Mansion puts into its rooms is as obvious here as it is in every other room. As one of their easier rooms it is great for beginners. The 1980s high school theme is a lot of fun. The Mystery Mansion sets the standard for escape rooms in Central Arkansas!
ClueBreakout Games - BirminghamEscape roomIRLMorty's "Best Overall 'Immersive Experience' of the Year (2021) - Bullseye Award" winner for a reason. This room is playing a real-life game of Clue. Keeping in mind that you are playing a real-life game of Clue to solve a murder that has not yet happened is the key to escaping the room. We felt like this was as much a production of Clue with puzzles thrown in, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. This is one of the best put together rooms we've done. Better for larger groups since there is a lot to see and think about. A "must play" game if you're in the area.
H.E.R.O.E.S.Memphis Escape Rooms - East MemphisEscape roomIRLExcellent game! Great environment, innovative, challenging clues and puzzles, with a little bit of an ambiguous flow. Very immersive. This was the kind of game that is a little challenging to know what to do next, but we were able to figure it out eventually, and our game facilitator did an outstanding job of nudging us when we needed to be nudged. This was our first time at Memphis Escape Games (Eastside), our 41st escape room, and this location is easily in the top 3 we've ever played. Great staff and great game facilitation with timely clues. We will return to play more games at Memphis Escape Rooms (Eastside) and at their downtown location ASAP.
The Guest HouseEscape CodeEscape roomIRLThis room was A LOT of fun. It wasn't quite linear but most of the clues pointed us in a common direction. There were a number of challenging but fun to solve clues, and there was a good amount in the room. This room was another reminder why Escape Code is one of our top favorites. We complete the room with 2 people and set the record for the new month with zero hints.
