Experiment C73Conundrum Escape Rooms - ArvadaEscape roomIRLThis was a fantastic experience. One of the best we've ever done. We took this on with friends, and can confirm that a third person is definitely necessary if you don't want the game master to step in and lend a hand. The puzzles were satisfying and unique, with no technical glitches to speak of. The variety of puzzles speaks highly to the creativity of the Conundrum team. Two years later, we still talk about this one.
The Alchemist's ChamberSomewhere SecretEscape roomIRLWhat a great room! We were convinced we weren't making it out of this one. The puzzles were so unique, and the historic building immediately made the experience immersive. Expect to ask yourself "is this really what I'm supposed to do?"
Path of the GodsConundrum Escape Rooms - ArvadaEscape roomIRLClose call! This was a great, low-tech room. The puzzles in this room are numerous and time-consuming, but somewhat forgettable. The decorations were great, but could have really done with a couple of special effects that let you know you're on the right track. The pacing of the room was a little bit unusual.
The Hollywood Mystery: A Room NoirConundrum Escape Rooms - ArvadaEscape roomIRLThis room is cute, and definitely appropriate for beginners. You'll find a lot of locks and combinations in this room, which is may be detrimental to the originality. The story is particularly immersive, however.
The SpeakeasyEscapeWorks Denver - Convention CenterEscape roomIRLThis room is a little bit forgettable. We remember it being fun, but don't have a lot of stand-out moments to speak of.
Casino HeistEscapeWorks Denver - Convention CenterEscape roomIRLWe did this escape room as our first date! Definitely recommended for that purpose. The room had a fair share of technical glitches, which really detract from the experience, but the ideas were quite novel. The props were reasonably impressive, though the decorations could have used some help.
