I did this escape room a long time ago, but the  game guide was very overbearing and did not let us solve the puzzles on our own. Any time we were very close to solving a puzzle, he would get on the mic and tell us they answer. It ruined the experience for me and my friends, and we felt like we didn’t solve any of the puzzles on our own.

You need prior knowledge of what she called “gear math”… she would explain it other than that. We finally had to ask for a clue- she said she didn’t know how it worked. It was her job to know how it worked? She said they have a 10% escape rate… which is abysmal. 70% is the industry standard for an extremely difficult escape room.
