Prison BreakRed Door Escape Room - TemeculaEscape roomIRLReally fun! The room setup was pretty interesting and some puzzles felt so satisfying once you eventually understood them. Red Door staff here is always really kind as well. Though, I’d recommend asking for no nudges. We usually don’t mind them when we’re falling behind, but we received a hint for the final puzzle with almost 15 minutes left even though we had already figured out what to do. Nothing too bad, just something to keep in mind for your visit!
Atlantis: Dive To The Forgotten CityTop Tier Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLTo preface, I used to work here. Delving into only the games themself, this is a big warning to just not play this one. The game is falling apart and multiple key items are rubbed off/worn out, making the game just a huge nuisance. The puzzles don’t particularly stand out either, and can be frustrating to newer escape room players. If you want to play one of Top Tier’s easier games, just play Outside In. Atlantis is not worth the price nor the time.
Mystery at the Lost Point LodgeBrainy Actz - BakersfieldEscape roomIRLHard to tell what was in play and what wasn’t. There were numbers on items that weren’t even a part of the game, making it pretty confusing. Puzzles didn’t connect together well and the concept of needing to contact your GM to figure out if a code is correct ahead of time completely takes you out of the immersion, if you can consider any of the game immersive to begin with. My husband and I laughed half the time because of how bad it was. Seriously avoid this game, it’s not worth the money at all.
