Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - Crocker ParkEscape roomIRLThis is probably my favorite game from this location, though it’s the only one we did not complete so far out of 3 games currently, with plans to do the final two (and maybe retry this one after the cell again for funzies and update my review then). This game has my favorite gameplay elements of any escape game I have tried so far. I dislike when games are cryptic, this game is the opposite of cryptic. A game can be difficult without being cryptic on the next steps or puzzle you should be solving. This game in particular is the opposite of cryptic. The first puzzles are fun, the story is immersive, and kudos to the game master for promoting us to close the door to go to the next location :) this was a nice touch! Great game at a great escape room place!
The DepthsThe Escape Game - Crocker ParkEscape roomIRLWe haven’t had a bad game from this business. I’ve now done 3 games at this location and 2 in DC. I think this game has good technology, but the flow of the game in the first half was a little slow going. Still, I rate this game highly bc I’ve been to bad escape rooms, this is far from a bad escape room, and I must say my heart was pounding the whole time!
Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - Crocker ParkEscape roomIRLThis was our 3rd game at this location, and as always this game was top notch. Great special effects in this one. There are noticeably two halves to this room, the second half has some really neat gameplay mechanics. Each puzzle flows into the next, and the storyline is believable. Don’t be turned off by this company being a chain, their games are top notch! Very friendly staff that is helpful, and they definitely love what they do.
Baldwin ManorEscape ArtistsEscape roomIRLFun game, one prob was broken, maybe 2 hard to say. But they found workarounds to make it flow. (Tv video instead of phone call). It still flowed well, and had a king series of good puzzles.
