Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' PlotzDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done! The theming was absolutely fantastic! Really makes you feel like you stepped right in to an old timey cartoon. The last puzzle can get a little overwhelming at first but once you figure it out it is amazing! Honestly, no notes for this room!
The Seventh RoomDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was by far the scariest room I’ve ever done. Not for the faint of heart. I cried a couple times and had a panic attack. Luckily, the game master asks for a safe word and will run very quickly if used. While we did finish, I still think you should have at least 3 or 4 people to do this room. Someone will be isolated and having more than one person help them get out might have helped more.
Bubba’s Basement BargainsThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLOver all a pretty decent room. Nothing overly special about it. The story is very simple and it’s your typical lock and key/code style room. Nothing high tech about it.
Two Can Keep a SecretThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLThis was the right level of scary! A few jump scares here and there that got us. Loved the story. Probably the best room at this location!
WonderlandEdge EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was an amazing experience! Alice in Wonderland is my favorite movie and getting to step into the world was fantastic. None of the puzzles were super difficult but still challenging enough to make it fun. Everything is nonsense, just as it should be for this story!
Haunted HouseEscapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLWe got to do a sneak peak of this room. Over all, it was decent, but not one of Escapology’s best. The story was a very typical cursed house story. While the puzzles were fun and challenging, finding the puzzles was the hard part. We spent a lot of time just to figure out what we were supposed to be doing. I won’t spoil any of it, but there was also just a lot of red herrings that ate up way too much time. We usually don’t ask for a lot of clues but found ourself asking for a lot of clues mostly just asking what was next. Decent room but the flow just wasn’t good.
Santa’s Christmas List CaperThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLThis is a pretty standard Christmas overlay room. Since it is in one of the rooms of Exit Protocol, there is no special effects for this room. It’s all boxes with code locks. They do a great job dressing the room up to make it feel Christmas. This would be a great starter room or a room for kids who love puzzles.
Exit ProtocolThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLAs far as military based rooms, this one was pretty good. Not extremely high tech but still had some cool effects. Still mostly lock and key/code heavy though.
Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient ExpressEscapology - KissimmeeEscape roomIRLThis is by far the most difficult of the games here! We still really enjoyed it! You don’t need to know anything about the book or movie to understand what is going on. Just got to be quick…
Star Trek Discovery: Damage Control [prev. Star Trek: Quantum Filament]Escapology - KissimmeeEscape roomIRLLoved this game! I haven’t watched anything Star Trek related in years and am definitely not a Trekkie but still really enjoyed this room! If you are a fan of Star Trek: Discovery, there are some references to characters in the show but nothing that would make the game difficult for non-viewers. My favorite part of this game was the technology. There are no traditional locks or puzzles which makes it stand out from the other games here. Highly recommend!
