This room is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere starts the moment you arrive, before you even step into the lobby. There are live actors which help usher you through the experience--I came into this part blind! I didn't realize they would be with us the whole way through! They were absolutely FANTASTIC. It's definitely on the creepy side, but I've seen worse! There was a lot going on so parts of the story were a little challenging to follow, but the puzzles were great.

This one is Chapter 1 of the story. This first chapter is more typical escape room faire. It sets up the story that you'll be following for chapters 2 and 3 as well. I highly recommend these rooms to anyone who likes escape rooms and/or interactive storytelling. We had a long conversation with the designer about these rooms and what he wants to do with them. It's absolutely fascinating. The gameplay was great, the set design was great. What really excites me about these rooms, though, is what he wants to do with them in the long run. He wants to turn the whole complex into an interactive story/immersive experience. I think something like that would be absolutely amazing. While you're waiting for your time to go into the next chapter room, you can go to the Boba shop or interact with the actors there--like a cross between a renaissance faire and an interactive experience at Comic Con. Your game will change depending on the choices that you make in it. Are you going to fight to save certain characters, or let them die? What pieces are you going to hang onto, and which pieces are you going to leave behind? How will you interact with the actors in the game? All of these things will affect how your character is treated, and what your storyline is like. I just wish I could go through it again.

This one is Chapter 3 of the story. If you haven't done "Occam's Apartment" and "Norcross Art Gallery" yet, you definitely want to (have to?) do those first. Otherwise, you won't understand the story. I highly recommend these rooms to anyone who likes escape rooms and/or interactive storytelling. We had a long conversation with the designer about these rooms and what he wants to do with them. It's absolutely fascinating. The gameplay was great, the set design was great. What really excites me about these rooms, though, is what he wants to do with them in the long run. He wants to turn the whole complex into an interactive story/immersive experience. I think something like that would be absolutely amazing. While you're waiting for your time to go into the next chapter room, you can go to the Boba shop or interact with the actors there--like a cross between a renaissance faire and an interactive experience at Comic Con. That being said, this is my favorite of the 3 rooms, even though it's freaking scary to me! The level of tension in this room is off the charts. Members of your group are pulled out one or two at a time to do additional challenges, testing your bravery and critical thinking skills. I was only brave enough to do one of them--a taste testing challenge--and it was HARD! The choices that you've made throughout the rest of the story will adjust what you come into contact with in this room--how are things set up here, what are you coming in with, etc. I don't think I ever would have thought about turning a morgue into a game show. I just wish I could go through it again.

This room is incredible! It takes an exact number of players because everyone is blindfolded and led into separate rooms at the beginning... and you have to work together to get out. Each player has their own "role" and their own challenges. And each player has their own box to solve. If everyone solves their boxes, AND the group gets out in time... then you survive! But only a small percentage of groups actually survive completely. We went in with 5 players, which is the minimum you'd want. I think they can put more than one player in each room, but if you're with an experienced group, you don't need more than 1. It was my friend's first game ever, and she did great! The rest of the family supported her through it... we're very experienced.

We only went over by about 15 seconds... not too shabby considering my 15 year old daughter and I were alone with five 12-year-olds... some of whom had never done an escape room before. This is a challenging room, and meant for a large group of adults. It's best to split your party into different groups and focus on the different puzzles. We had to have our host come into the room to help us several times because I could only be in so many places at once. He was absolutely wonderful, though, and the kids had a great time. My favorite puzzle was at the end. :)
