The ButcherDeceptive GamesEscape roomIRLWe did the blackout version of The Butcher and that made it quite hard! The puzzles themselves weren’t overall difficult, though not being able to see made them pretty hard. The room definitely feels very much older and reminds me a lot of escape rooms back when they first started to gain traction. I think this is a good first escape room if you don’t mind a scare (and don’t do lights out, lol) as the puzzles are fairly intuitive provided you’re able to see.

I think it balances puzzle amounts really well, insofar as having enough to feel like you get your money’s worth and still being able to escape. The puzzles in here were both fun and on theme, which is a major plus. My group enjoyed clowning around!
